Will Katchalov Get His Second Bracelet?Posted 43 minutes ago by tayke2Eugene KatchalovEugene KatchalovWelcome back to the Rio! Today we are bringing you another final table as we are looking to complete Event #41: $1,500 Limit Hold'em Shootout. Two days ago, we started with 538 hopefuls, and now, only 10 remain. The biggest name still left is easily Eugene Katchalov. Katchalov was already a huge name coming into this World Series, but he cemented his growing leagacy with a win earlier this year in Event #5: $1,500 Seven Card Stud. Today he is trying to become the first 2-time winner of the 2011 WSOP.It won't be easy though. Also at this final table are Jordan Rich and Ari Engel, and a few other players who have proved they aren't flukes by getting through not one but two tables in the past two days.Every player will start with 450,000 in chips, and the goal is to have a winner by the end of the day. If we aren't done by the end of 10 levels, then the players will likely come back tomorrow to determine a winner. Cards will be in the air in about 30 minutes, and we will bring you all of the action from today's exiciting final table. Thanks for tuning in to Pokernews, and enjoy!Seat 1: Adam TyburskiSeat 2: Dom DenotaristefaniSeat 3: Stephen BassSeat 4: Justin PechieSeat 5: Jordan RichSeat 6: Mathieu JacqmiSeat 7: Christoph KwonSeat 8: Dale EberleSeat 9: Eugene KatchalovSeat 10: Ari Engel

pfffftdecided to relax a bitBass Belted By PechiePosted 5 minutes ago by tayke2Justin Pechie has been on an absolute tear since returning from a dinner break, and this was another hand that was a part of his rise to the top of the leader board. Stephen Bass raised, and Pechie put in three bets next to act. Bass called, and they took a flop of {9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{a-Clubs}. Bass check called a bet form Pechie, and they took a turn of {7-Diamonds}. Once again, Bass check called, and the river came the {q-Hearts}. For a third time, Bass check called, and Pechie showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for a full house. Bass mucked his hand, dropping him to under 300,000, while Pechie continues his hot streak post dinner.Chip Counts Stephen Bass 275,000 -55,000 negTags: Stephen Bass, Justin Pechie.Eberle Slipping, Pechie ThrivingPosted 10 minutes ago by tayke2Dale Eberle and Justin Pechie are two players that have been going in opposite directions since returning from dinner break, and that is due largely to big pots that they've played together. In the first hand, Eberle raised preflop and got a call from Justin Pechie in the big blind. The flop came {7-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, and Pechie check called a bet from Eberle. Both players checked the {10-Diamonds} on the turn, and the river came the {2-Diamonds}. Pechie bet out, and Eberle called. Pechie showed {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of sevens, and it was good enough to take the pot.A few hands later, Eberle raised preflop, and once again, Pechie was the only caller. The flop caome out {5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, and this time, Pechie check raised Eberle. He called, and the turn brought the {a-Diamonds}. Pechie bet out, and Eberle called again, as he did when the {3-Diamonds} hit the river. Pechie showed {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}, and his queen kicker gave him the pot, as Eberle showed an inferior {j-}{10-}. That pot has given Pechie the chip lead with six players left.Chip Counts Justin Pechie 1,300,000 525,000 pos Dale Eberle 410,000 -420,000 neg

Pechie Continues To Run Over The TablePosted 7 minutes ago by BenLudlowJustin PechieJustin PechieJustin Pechie has taken control here after the dinner break and is up to 1,600,000.In this hand against Eugene Katchalov, Pechie raised in early position and Katchalov called from the big blind. The flop came down {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{a-Hearts} Katchalov checked, Pechie bet out, and Katchalov called. The turn came {8-Clubs} Katchalov again checked, Pechie bet out and Katchalov called. The river came {5-Spades} Katchalov checked, Pechie again bet and this time Katchalov angrily tossed his cards into the muck. The very next hand, Pechie raised it up under the gun, Dale Eberle re-raised on the button, and Stephen Bass called in the big blind. Pechie called the raise and the three saw a {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop. Bass checked, Pechie bet, Eberle raised, and both players called to see the {8-Diamonds} turn. Bass and Pechie checked to Eberle who bet and both players called. The river came {9-Clubs} and Bass bet out, Pechie raised, Eberle angrily folded, Bass re-raised, Pechie re-raised once more and Bass was all in. Both players showed {q-}{j-} and they chopped the pot with the straight. Eberle fell to only 180,000 after the handOne hand later Eberle raised it up in the cutoff, Bass re-raised from the small blind, and Pechie re-raised again from the big blind. Both players called and they saw the flop of {7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Bass checked, Pechie bet, Eberle folded and Bass called to see the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. Again, Bass checked, Pechie bet, and Bass called. The river was the {4-Spades} and once again, Bass checked, Pechie bet, and Bass called. Pechie showed {q-}{q-} for a flopped set to take down the pot.Pechie is up around 1,600,000 and after that last hand Bass is down to only 200,000. With some real short stacks at the table now, we are likely to lose some more players very soon.Chip Counts Justin Pechie 1,600,000 300,000 pos Stephen Bass 200,000 -75,000 neg Dale Eberle 180,000 -230,000 neg

Pechie Takes Big Heads-Up LeadPosted 1 minute ago by BenLudlowJustin Pechie has an eight to one chip lead right now on Dale Eberle in heads-up play after this hand.Eberle raised it up on the button, Pechie re-raised from the big blind, and Eberle called. The flop came down {8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} Pechie bet, and Eberle called. The turn came {2-Hearts} and again Pechie bet and Eberle called. The river was the {k-Clubs} and again Pechie bet, this time Eberle raised and Pechie re-raised and Eberle made the call confidently throwing down {k-}{7-} for a rivered top pair. It was no good though as Pechie showed {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} for the set and the win.Chip Counts Justin Pechie 4,000,000 800,000 pos Dale Eberle 500,000 -800,000 neg

Dale Eberle Eliminated in 2nd Place ($103,454)Posted 3 minutes ago by tayke2Dale EberieDale EberieJustin Pechie had just crippled Dale Eberle on the hand before, when Pechie flopped a set of queens and got value from it on all three streets. Eberle had under two big bets, and all those chips went in the middle preflop.Pechie: {k-Spades}{4-Hearts}Eberle: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}The flop came {k-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, giving Pechie a big lead in the hand. Eberle woud need a ten or running pair cards. The turn brought the {5-Diamonds}, and Eberle needed a non-diamond ten on the river. It came the {7-Spades}, and Eberle was eliminated, giving Justin Pechie the win.Chip Counts Justin Pechie 4,500,000 500,000 pos Dale Eberle Busted
