What percentage should a player see. In a typical table with 10 player, u have the blinds twice and you are in powerful positions twice (dealer and on off the dealer). Should you see the flop between 30% to 40%. Even most 'tight' players will normal see a big blind bet and small blind bet and see around 20% of the flops. Is my thinking right or do I need to adjust it?

For me it often depends on the makeup of the table, and if the BB gets raised quite often.I would say the I run anywhere from the mid to high teens to the upper 20's/low 30's.

For limit, I run on about 23% flops seen. This tends to be consistent whether I have a decent session or not so decent session. Where the gap develops between winning nights and losing nights, at least from what I've seen studying my own records (your mileage may vary) is on winning nights, the percentage of hands won at showdown to showdowns participated in is anywhere from 75-85% (81% on average). On losing nights, it will be far, far less. And usually in that equation for losing nights, the actual number of showdowns is higher than usual, as well. The number of starting hands you play is certainly important, but don't forget to study your numbers on the remaining rounds to possibly see a trend in why you win, or in some cases, why you don't.

If you're winning more than 60% of hands you show down, you're probably folding too many winners.

I think it should be about 35-38%Disbursed like this:Something like 17% of the time you are already in the blinds.12% when you are in good (late) position.7% in any position with strong cards2% in any position when you have garbage and want to attempt to outplay them post-flop.
