So, I haven't done this in forever. But I figure if people are watching... its bit less likely I will do something totally stupid. Im in two small tournaments on PokerStars right now. I have average chips in both approaching the bubble... where I pretty much suck.If you spot something in particular that seems bad or weak or just not good...please let me know. I understand the onslaught of insults I am inviting but... thats ok. I want to get better so anything is worth considering.K thanks.Gregsuper original online screenname is "Greg Kelley"

There is no reason to be raising to 3.75x when you are the initial raiser. You want to be raising less (2-2.5x) this late in a MTT because it allows you more flexibility postflop and allows you to fold without committing as much if, say you raise QJ to 2225 and someone goes all in for 18k, you can fold and only lose 2225 rather than 3750. As for more flexibility postflop, if you have 27k and you raise to 4k, and one caller, the pot will have 11k (after antes) and you will only have 23k creating a stack:pot ratio of 2. On the flipside, if you raise to 2k and 1 caller, pot will have 7k and you will have 25k in your stack now creating a stack:pot ratio of 3.5. It makes it possible to do many more things on the flop/turn/river.

Everyone is right. Raise to 2.5X pre first hand, go broke anyway. Hand 2 standard loss.
