I was at my weekly home game and the following hand came up. I'm not sure if I played it right, but I'd like everyone's opinion.7 players and we all start with 100 chips. I'm on the button with about 85 chips) and everyone folds to me. I look down at the black nines and I raise to 10 (mostly thinking I could pick up the blinds). The Little Blind (who is generally aggressive) raises to 35. Big Blind quickly folds and it's back to me. What should I have done?P.S. And yes I'm aware this was Hellmuth's winning hand against Chan.Edit: Blinds were 2-4

well i think calling here would be the worst thing you could do. you currently have 75 left and it costs 25 more to see the flop. Thats 1/3 of your stack and all of us can't be like david williams  So with his aggressive nature I would think about coming over the top all in. He may have you purely on a blind steal since you raised in late position. Also factor in would he reraise me with a pair lower then 9s? If you can say yes to that then I'd go ahead and push in. Its most liekly a coin flip. If he has a higher pair well then thats poker. He got rewarded with his aggressive nature and the fact that you were the dealer looking like a pure blind steal.

a 25BB deep tournament and this isn't some Casino ploy to rip you off? Wow man, start 200BB Deep next game Please.Fold or Move-in on him, You dont have enough chips to just call here the flop might scare you off. Similar thing happened to me now that I think about it, nearly the exact same thing happened to me.I was LP with 99, Raised it up 4x BB, SB (a drunk loose idiot) re-raised me. I re-raised him, He pushed me all-in, I quickly called. He showed A-4 I showed 99 and he won. Did I make the wrong play? Absolutely not. Looking at results is for fish. The fact that you said he was loose makes me say go all-in.

Yes, I know the structure is a little odd. Basically we play dealers-choice limit games for 3 hours or so. Then we start NLHE and keep the game moving because we all have work the next day. Usually the NL lasts 2 hours or so. So that's why it's not that deep of a game.Edit: Opening Blinds are 1-2

Normally I play too tight, but I think this is the time to push. It just looks too much like a steal from you to not try it.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those
who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

Thanks for the feedback. Atleast I can stop second-guessing myself. I did go all in and the little called. I turned over the 9's and he had Jacks. Flop brought a Jack, Turn was a 9, and river was blank. So I guess I have to chalk it up to "That's Poker".
