the clip amscray is referencingI gave this DVD to one of my former bosses, a vietnam war vet. amazing. errol morris.
I've never seen that clip before, but I disagree with McNamara's new found religion on the matter. Maybe when I'm 90, my opinion will 'soften' a bit but wars should either be fought completely, or not at all. "Proportionality" isn't a relevant factor when submission is the objective.

the whole thing is gold. I don't know enough about him to say whether he should be respected, but he was obviously extremely smartagree completely. that we can sit here and chat about these issues is thanks in part to the swiftness with which we dealt with japan, which led to a smoother transition into the cold war, and all the rest.

The obvious stupidity in how he ran the Vietnam war from every angle removes any chance I would ever consider him remotely smart. And what a surprise that he felt the bombs dropped in Japan were wrong.....the guy still thinks that the rules of war are something two people who are trying to kill each other should agree with....Idiot.

The National Republican Lawyers Association found 334 cases of actual voter fraud over the last ten years.....or .7 fraudulent votes per state per election. Glad we got those voter ID laws in to combat this widespread scourge!

Couldn't one case of voter fraud involve multiple votes?

So what is more pitiful? That Iran has an annual anti-Israel protest in the capitol?orThat Iran doesn't get that Israel can and will destroy their country if they mess with them?

The teachers are the highest paid in the country, were offered a 16% raise and are demanding a 30% raise.

It's too bad Chicago can't import some Scott Brown for a couple months to help them fix things before the inner city kids get more screwed by the teachers unions.

The movies been out for months.

They chose 9-11 for a reason.

No easy answer for America though. Pressure for the new Libyan government to bring the murders to justice very quickly is about the only thing we can do. So we are dependent on Libya to handle our response. Not a good place to be.
