Apparently, this lady, tried to mail a dog through the post office. Luckily, she left her phone number (612 516 2253) on her facebook page open to the public so that the post office could get ahold of her.

priceless
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America 's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
~ Senator Barack H. Obama

I always wonder how someone that incredibly stupid can get through an average day. Sort of like the people on an Airplane who can't figure out how to find their own seat without asking for directions. How do these people survive?

In Rhode Island last June, eight-year-old David Morales wore a hat to school with an American flag on it and with toy soldiers (representing American soldiers) as a way of honoring U.S. troops. The hat was banned. Why? The tiny plastic soldiers held even tinier toy guns — and that violated the school’s policy of zero tolerance of weapons

In Texas City,Texas, last May, Christian Thompson was prohibited from wearing a cross at Blocker Middle School. The New District High School in San Fernando, California, has banned crosses (as symbols of torture), WWJD ("What Would Jesus Do?") bracelets, and “Choose the Right” rings worn by LDS members. The Christian Bible has also been banned from the school library.

Quote

The Plymouth-Canton school district has opted to allow Sikh students to wear a small, religious dagger to school. The decision reverses a ban put in place in December after a fourth-grade boy at Bentley Elementary School in Canton was found with a dull 3- to 5-inch kirpan, a dagger that is a religious symbol baptized Sikh males are expected to carry. In Sikh tradition, the kirpan represents a commitment to fight evil.

The not wearing a cross as it symbolizes torture I find hilarious and it would make me want to send my kids there, if I had kids. However, banning the bible from the library is preposterous and flies in the goddamn face of what a library should be.Banning a book, even one that is a farce taken as truth by the superstitious, is bullshit. Therefore I wouldn't send my kids there, if I had kids.Moral of the story? I need to have kids so I can support or not support a school by sending or not sending them there.

Not being much of an ancient history buff. But didnt the wussification of Rome have something to do with the fall of the empire? The fact of the matter is, right or wrong, good or bad, human nature being what it is, the world has always been controlled by the agressive use of force. The meek may inherit the Earth, but not till the strong die off.

In all fairness I can understand why I wouldn't want kids reading the bible till they are older, not that any of them would crack it open and understand it in the first place. I mean should a 5th grade teacher have to explain why moses made a million men get circumsized before going into Canaan to commit genocide on innocent people and making a mountain out of foreskin. Really, didn't the Christians with all their bookburning and whining about porno and such start all this though?

Pretty much the point of the first two stories was to show the PC-fication of the schools and how they would throw it all out the window to allow a muslim to bring a knife to school because they don't want to offend his religion. They let a kid bring a knife to school because they don't want to upset the muslims.

LOL at Sikhs being Muslims. They do have Brown skin though so I see how you could mix them up.There's been quite a bit of controversy about the Sikh's dagger the Kirpan in Canada and where they can and can't wear them. It's a tenant of their religion that they should always wear one around their neck. Most of them are pretty small and they wear them out of sight under their shirts.Posted Image

My bad about the muslim thing. But the point is still relevant. While we are going overboard removing all traces of Christianity from our public life, we are simultaneously bending over backwards for religions that have no connection to our country, to the point of allowing a knife to be taken to school...Kids are being expelled for bring a toy knife to school, a toy gun, etc. And here the school officials are finding a reason to allow a knife to be brought.I can only see this as being worse if this was allowed on an airplane while a 7 year old girl gets here Hello Kitty backpack searched.

Ron Paul wins the CPAC poll for the second straight year, FOX says this proves Romney is the frontrunner. Most exciting to me is that 3 of the top 4 were actually people I could vote for. Gary Johnson, my favorite candidate, got 3rd, and Chris Christie got 4th.The times they are a-changing...

Yeah, I know.FOX only loves neo-cons of the Bush-Cheney variety. A true conservative that believes in small government is not "viable" in the world of Fox News.

I assume Romney finished second. Though I could see him finishing 5th or 6th and Fox calling him the front runner if Mitch Daniels finished second. Was Daniels part of the straw poll? I agree Johnson, Paul, Christie, and I would throw in Mitch Daniels of Indiana look like a good group.

Yeah, it's funny how the neo-cons are desperately trying to mock Paul. A few years ago when their people were winning then CPAC was, of course, the most important event of the year. Now that history has passed the old guard by, suddenly CPAC doesn't matter. I think the old guard has one more election, Romney will be nominated, Obama will beat him. Then, it's done, and the new kids are taking over.
