two quick questions and hopefully your opinion

1.Early in a tourny should I be playing loose.Somethings I read say play tight untils antes and blinds pick up. But i see alot of people playing very loose early. Will this ruin my table image for later?

2. Does anybody think playing d-o-n will put you into bad habits?

I play a fair amount of these. You really have to approach these a little different. I wonder the same as you if I get bad habits, but I do not think so. I think it is in the approach. I have been playing 180s the past few weeks, and doing decent. I spent some time last night watching some PokerVT videos, and picked up some major flaws I have, but they were unrelated to DON play.

I think the biggest problem with Double or Nothing SNG's is that the structure is flawed and gives colluders far too much of an edge compared to other games.

There's just far too much value gained by a large stack colluder transferring chips to a shorter stack where the short stack will gain a large amount of equity without the large stack losing much.

Does anybody have any advise on early play in mtt or is it just take what the table will give you?

don't think there is a set answer to this. Adjust to your table. The old adage is if the table is loose play tight and if the table is tight play loose, adjust accordingly.
