there's a part in the latest one where he starts having a cat-conversation randomly. watch the rest of them, will you? it's worth it.

I'm watching the most recent ep right now and that heckler bit was phenomenal.

Love this show. The best parts continue to be the stand up but that's good enough for me. Side note - His stand up movie "Hilarious" (all new material) is going to premiere on the Epix Channel (I don't know if I get it) on September 18th and will be on Comedy Central in 2011.http://www.variety.c...1...yid=14&cs=1

That was the best written episode of the season. Not the most hilarious but the best.

I think Louie is one of the only 5 or so standups who is actually funny...so I've been sort of shocked by how unfunny this show is. And he is obviously incredibly inexperience, and not very good at handling all the roles he's taken on with this project. But it still has the pieces to be one of the best shows on TV, and sometimes there are moments of sheer genius. This week was great. The show would probably be pretty funny and mediocre with a bunch TV writers and experienced directors, and I probably wouldn't give a shit. I think in a season or two this could be one of the couple best shows on TV.
12. When menstruating, use a product that right for your menstrual flow. A tampon too big can irritate and develop fungus. A product left in too long can cause bacteria or fungus build up. Products can be changed at least every 4 hours. Except when sleeping, they can be left in for the night

What?!? You like Louis ck, but you don't like the show? What do you think about the 'faggot' piece at poker night? What about the recent 'smoking pot with the neighbor' bit? The 'heckler' bit? I have really enjoyed this show. While I'm sure you'll agree that not every bit can be funny (see: SNL), I think he's doing a really good job.

I don't read dutch's review as a shot at it. I mean, maybe he INTENDS to take a shot, but it seems clear that louis ck isn't trying to be funny with every moment of the show. the bully episode is a perfect example.

I didn't know that poster was dutch.I agree that not every moment is hilarity, but I'm entertained from start to finish. I don't have the expectation that I'm going to laugh non-stop, I guess we just see it differently.
