I got ****ed up knee on knee, or well, something on my knee, I don't really know what happened. I cut to the left to get a shot in the slot, next thing I know my knee gets jolted, and I'm spinning on my way to the ice. Took a shift off, but played the rest of the game. Now my knee is killing me.I'm going on a golf trip with my old man on Saturday, I'll be really pissed it it still hurts then.

RestIceCompresionElevationBe careful if you go golfing. If you wear golf shoes, you could twist up your knee a little more. Maybe wear a light Ace bandage for support...or shoes without cleats.

Yeah, it doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would. Twisting it would hurt the most. Been taking a few practice swings, but not much pain in there. I don't golf until Sunday, so hopefully it'll be fine by then. Probably going to skip my game tomorrow night (for other reasons as well), and give it some more rest.

Next game is Sunday nite. Some bad news though. Ross, one of our D men is out with a broken wrist and is out the rest of the season.

Big game tonight, we are up against Beaver Lumber. 2nd of 3 round robin games. Top 4 move onto the semi finals. Then the finals, then the winner plays the other conference for the championship. Standings as of now in the round robin...1. Ninja Turtles 1-0-01. Beaver Lumber 1-0-03. Gamblers 0-1-03. Scared Hitless 0-1-05. Critter Jungle Wild 0-0-15. Puck Pigs 0-0-1*************We are short a lot of guys tonight. Zach is in ThunderBay, and Ross is out with an ankle. My buddy and I also now have a new pre-game ritual of going to McDonalds before the game to grab a bacon double cheeseburger and a large coffee (jeep). Hits the spot and gives us a boost right before the game.

We won 6-0 today. In 1st place now in the round robin, we have one more round robin game on Thursday against the Gamblers, a win will guarantee us the #1 overall seed for the next round. Some highlights of the game.......- Dave (my D partner) got a penalty for slashing this guy named Bodangles (it's the name on the back of his jersey, he is a complete deutsche, Zach is good friends with him). Then I get a penalty for slashing him. So we are down 2 men, but somehow score 2 goals to start off the game during this 5-3. Hilarious. - This guy slashes Ian (our goalie), it is pretty innocent, just a hack. Like it's bad, but just a penalty.. we think! But then the ref ejects him! Gives him a 5 minute major and a game misconduct. Dude flips out and almost goes ballistic on the ref. I wouldn't be surprised if he is kicked out of the league. - Our guy Adam keeps frustrating Bodangles, and Bodangles cries everytime that there should be a penalty. I laugh out loud every time it happens, whether I'm on the bench or on the ice, and the other team gets angry. - It eventually leads to one play where we are killing a penalty, but the four of us on the ice are running almost a powerplay in their zone. At one point though, I can feel a guy just on my tail, and I'm near the boards. I can feel him nudge me just a bit on my back shoulder. I was on the ice for a good 3 minutes, so I'm running out energy, so I fall and crash into the boards intentionally head first. I sell it pretty well, as it looks really vicious. I then grab my head and get into the fetal position. The play stops. Dan (another guy on our team) hits the guy to the ice. The other guy gets a double minor, and then starts losing it on the ref. He then loses it enough to get ejected from the game. Dan asks if I'm ok, I giggle, and tell him to help me off the ice. We had a laugh on the bench, I went on the next shift and scored a goal. - We all had some fun laughs after in the dressing room. Great times.

The league actually asked for my opinion on the incidents, since I'm the team captain/organizer. Since I wasn't there, I deferred to a non-Biatch teammate for hopefully an objective account of what happened.Debating whether or not to disclose the dive to the league. I'd like to see what my teammate's account of it is first. Biatch is a diving little bitch tho.

It is a sad day.... this is the first thing I have ever heard about biatch that was a disappointment...

That is pretty bad. My little brother was a diving little bitch too. I have never understood that - I can't imagine ever wanting to win a recreational or house league game enough to cheat. Oh, and it is cheating. And not like cheating on a test or your taxes, which really doesn't affect anyone, but cheating in a way that has a significant and detrimental effect on others.This isn't just at Biatch, just a diatribe on diving in general. I hope that Biatch was kidding about diving.

Not that it matters....but the 1st guy got suspended for slashing our goalieand the 2nd guy got suspended for physically going after the referee.neither was suspended because of me diving.

The second guy went after the referee because the ref called him for a double minor that was a phantom call because you took a dive and pretended you were hurt.... Sorry, Dan.... can't back you up on this one...
