That was the swan song of Northern English Football. That will be the last European cup won by a North English club for at least a decade. The future is London, I'm sad to say. Liverpool, though they played out of their heads in the champions league, is a second tier priemiership squad. So is Everton. And while Man U isn't second tier yet, their is clear space between them and Chelsea and Arsenal. This is only going to get worse once Man U becomes a Debt shelter.
