Fourth hand of the 750k guarantee on FT. I had raised 2 of the previous three hands with AJ and AQ in late position. Get AA next hand. I usually push these hands pretty hard early. What are you trying to accomplish by c/ring the turn?

FPS. and we are overplaying our hand. check call is i guess valid as an option too bc from what i understand christian is very aggro. but it depends a lot. punch line, almost anything but this. stack sizes are wrong to c/r this tun all in imo*** side note, if you aren't confident in your play, dont play $256 dollar tournies,... unless you have VERY DEEP POCKETS

I put him on something like AK or AQ of diamonds or maybe something like 1010 on the turn. I checked to see if he would semi bluff with his draw. I also thought he might be a little weaker since I had raise 3 of the 1st 4 hands (slight chance he was simply trying to buy it on the turn).I figured he would reraise me preflop with something like JJ or QQ, and the chance he had K10 are very small that early. So do I just lay down AA and put him on a small set all the time in this spot?

if he is drawing he is probably going to check behind. bet fold turn imo. i mean hard to say, we beat a bluff. he is capable of bluffing, but the rest the time we are in the hurt locker imo. use your reads. but please dont play it like this.

Just shove the turn, board is not a good one to be offering the possibility of our villain taking a free card.

i do not think you are behind enough to bet/fold. look at the pot and stack sizes.

Possible Hands:QQ is unlikely, as there was no raise pre-flopJJ would be likely, but does he really just flat call your raise on that board with a set? Doubtful.AQ of Diamonds (Impossible since you are holding the A of diamonds)K 10 of diamonds. ( No history on him, we don't how he plays, have to consider it a possibility)However, the ultimate truth is that he has JQsuited no diamonds. I'd be willing to place a bet on that.I feel that Bet fold is pretty bad here. If you are going to bet here you mightas well just shove. If you make a bet under 1000 and he shoves, you pretty much have to call.Check/Fold or Check/Call a small bet IMO.

I agree with check/fold or check/call here. He either has Qd-10d or 10d-8d IMO. More likely the 10-8 & you are beat at that point.

What was the end result of the hand?? I played in the Stars and Stripes tourney at the Bike 2 days ago in a deepstack event and the following happened: level 2, 50/100, got AA in mid position, made it 775 to go, BB calls. Flop, 338, idiot on BB checks, I bet 1500, BB calls...turn is a K, he bets 8000. I'm thinking AK, KJ or KQ, I go all-in, he calls with 4d8d.....WTF!!!! 2:30 am the next day in the cash game area I almost kill the *******. I have no clue what the ass**** could've been thinking. Funny thing was that he only lasted 20 minutes more than me in the tourney, he donked off 50k in chips with an AJ to another person's AQ ultimately....
