I've read a lot of speculation but no real evidence linking Jane's account to the other cheaters.
EDIT: I've seen jane's stats and she seems like a winning player over a large sample.
I don't think it would be hard to compare her winning rate and sample size to other cheating accounts to determine some sort of link.

In a case of collusion win rate has zero to do with anything.
In a case like this I imagine the evidence is mostly going to be related to frequency of play with the other accounts and then actual game play and seeing if the cheating accounts play differently with each other than they do with other accounts that aren't related.
Poker Stars will never publicly give out the evidence.

So after a few hundred grand is 'stolen' from the honest players on their site, Pokerstars returned the tiny bit of money they did confiscate, kept the rake ( which means they won/lost nothing in this exchange ) and banned these players ( their screen names )
Anyone think this action is kind of lacking in effectiveness to protect their site from thieves?
I don't know what else can be done, but it seems that this will only get worse, that scams, collusion and thieves will get better and better because at the end of the day, online gaming sites are always going to be a few steps behind cheaters.
And the online sites will take a share of the cheater's ill gotten gain every time...

Finally people are realizing who the real crooks are, Pokerstars themselves.
Saw Jim Mcmanus playing low stakes on FTP and had to throw this line at him-
herly33 (Observer): hey Jim your disrespcting the game
herly33 (Observer): stop raising in the dark pal
Jim McManus: I call u with Q hi
Jim McManus: (but not J hi)
herly33 (Observer): lol
herly33 (Observer): im glad u can joke about
herly33 (Observer): wasnt sure how u would react
