I think we need to make a game out of this. Like, hangman or something. Every time you browse this forum, we'll add another body part to the hangman. When he becomes a complete person, uh, I don't know, you'll have to do something that'll be funny, or something.I'm sure Joey can fill in the rest of the details. It's my idea, so I'll 50% of the earnings. Next.

This is a good idea, but not until you can convince me that these are really accidents.Everybody would have their own hangman and the first one to be hanged...well, I guess that's self-explanatory.Mine would always be empty because, what the hey, how are you accidentally browsing anywhere?(Is it what the hey or what the hay? Who says that anyway? Is that like if you don't want to say hell, but heck is just a liiiittle too close for your liking?)
Homer: Moe, I need your advice.
Moe: Yeah?
Homer: See, I got this friend named... Joey Jo Jo... Junior... Shabadoo.
Moe: That's the worst name I ever heard.

Really now what is going on here? I don't think I have accidentally entered *any* subforum in the last month, and LG is doing it this often? Can we get some explanation as to how this is happening? Hand tremors? Twitching? Misreading? Or is it intentionally clicking a recent post and not realizing it was here? I don't get it.

Just got here accidentally again. What happens is, I am going from General to Entertainment using the scrollbar, and I am not careful enough so I scroll down and click just above Entertainment by mistake.
We are all so complicated, and then we die. We are a subject one day, with our vanities, our loves, our worries, and then one day, abruptly, we become nothing but an object, an absolutely disgusting pile of shit. We pass very quickly from one stage to the next. It's very bizarre. It will happen to all of us, and fairly soon too. We become an object you can handle like a stone, but a stone that was someone.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Really though, it pisses me off when people use that quote as if it has any truth to it. Does anyone actually think that has anything to do with what insanity really is? Not only does it fail to capture the essence of what it means to be insane, it is not always wrong to expect different results from performing the same action over again. Conditions change. The same action often does lead to different consequences. It's one of the stupidest quotes of all time, and everyone says it as if it is so profound. Besides the fact that it is (most certainly erroneously) attributed to Einstein, why does anyone repeat this nonsense?

As Einstein always said: "VB, what's wrong with you." I was obviously just making fun of people for continually clicking here on 'accident'. I wasn't making a comment on the scientific method. Holy hell, dude.

I know what you were doing, I just have an issue with that phrase. It's one of two things I am now dedicated to ranting about whenever I see it. (the other being "it's just semantics") I feel it is my duty.

I'd like to hear this second rant. I've said something approaching, "Look, man, we're just arguing about semantics, here" in what I assumed was a proper, conversation-ending/steering context on a number of occasions.
