Please please please Miami beat the Jets. I need this for my LeBatard listening pleasure. But I'm not too hopeful that Miami will be able to score, like, any points against them.
Homer: Moe, I need your advice.
Moe: Yeah?
Homer: See, I got this friend named... Joey Jo Jo... Junior... Shabadoo.
Moe: That's the worst name I ever heard.

Yeah, but is there any reason to think the Jets can score, like, any points against the dolphins? The Dolphins played so conservatively on offense in the first two games that I won't just assume they can't score on the Jets at all......but it is a concern. I think (BOLD PREDICTION): Henne ends up throwing more than 15 times this game. This could definitely be a first team to get to double digits wins kinda game.

Sporano is a douche. Take your sunglasses off inside, asshat.
"That was apparent again Sunday, when broadcasters on CBS and later NFL Network made light of Sparano wearing shades indoors in Minnesota. No, he's not trying to look cool. It's been repeatedly written, locally and even by The New York Times, that Sparano's eyes were splashed with hot grease when he was working in a Connecticut restaurant as a teenager. He lost his sight for a month and, even today, tears up easily when exposed to bright light. That's why he keeps his office fairly dark."WHO FEELS BAD NOW?!?!

It's not really their talking of the smack that has me confused so much as it's how so many announcers/analysts were favoring them to win the AFC.

Not a huge surprise to me. Sanchez looked good in the playoffs and they made a lot of "splashy" offseason moves. They are also a New york team which means they will be overhyped at times (see the offseason) and unfairly thrown under the bus during periods of adversity (see after Week 1). Of course, they have way too many problem guys on the roster and Braylon Edwards is blowing up in their face. I think the Jets are pretty legit overall but I would not put them ahead of Indy, Baltimore or Pittsburgh as premier contenders. They are 2nd tier with NE, Miami, San Diego and Houston (and maybe Cincy/Tennessee).

Henne and Marshall proved a ton but the Wildcat needs to be removed from the playbook already. What a disaster. Also, the reports of Jason Allen's ascendance were greatly exaggerated.....

Yeah, pretty much. If they can get to 5-5, I like their playoff chances. But I don't love their chances of getting to 5-5. How the **** does the AFC East get screwed schedule wise every year?

Hope the special teams coach gets mauled by a bear. That is all I have to say about that game.edit: He got fired, but not bear mauling. That's a push.

I hope that settles the Henne debate for a week at least. He made one bad throw the whole day, pretty good in Lambeau. They still don't close teams out which sucks....but they might have if they hadn't received another ref screw job on 4th and 1. **** you Ed Hochuli and your inability to see things in slow motion.I'm glad our FG kicker is money that's for sure.

I assume you're talking about the Brown run. Definite 1st down, not sure what the ref saw.

For a team that actively tries to lose with brain-farts and bafflingly conservative play calling, the Dolphins are pretty damn good.
