I made it to my third final table at bodog this week(2nd in chips), Im folding about 80 percent of time when I limp in from under the gun with AA, knowing that a raise will be coming to atleast try to pick up the huge blinds. Chip leader with a little more than 40k makes it 4k, I re raise to 11k and he puts me all in, he shows AQ and flops the straight. SO ridiculous I would of had a 2-1 chip lead on 2nd place and would of cruised to atleast top 3 but most likely first. Anyway just nightmare hand, Im doing a killing heads up and have been strictly doing 50's, I have turned my 60 into 750 so I cashed out 400. As an added bonus people seem somewhat intimidated by my screen name foxwoods pro and my reputation is doing me well, when I do play a 10 person SNG I usually know atleast one person, same as multis with all my success making it to final tables, but best finsih is 5th, Ive been getting really badly outdrawn or no winning coin flips.Jay

First, you should have rasied and kept yourself from any possible situation (i.e. the on e you were apparently asking for) that would get all you chips in the middle with another getting to see all 5 cards with no decisions to make. I'm guessig you would have lost your chips anyway, even if you rasied and he called, he still flopped it, would have moved in and you probably would've called or moved first.Could you have laid it down on the flop? While it may seem "ridiculous, it happnes all the time. Take for example last night 1/2NL. I'm BB check in with K9, flop comes down AKK, I bet, get rasied, next moves all in. I call other folds. Turn, 9, river A (original all in turns over A9) - oh well, guess what it happens.

WHAT? No ;[You're saying you want to keep yourself from being allin preflop with AA vs AQo? Just in case he sucks out? It happens. Keep getting allin preflop, and sure sometimes you lose (my current record with AA in multis is about 3 for 10 - thats all in preflop vs 1/2 ppl, so no ''your playing it wrong then please). Does this mean i should start folding it? Of course not - thats just shortterm, and overtime i will win these situations much more than i lose them.If you think getting raised is likely, i don't mind limping with aces, but late in a tournament i'm really aggressive when i have chips, so for me to limp/raise it would look odd. Therefore i often overbet with aces (people often think its a small pair not wanting a call) and hope for action. Anyway, to the OP you played it fine, keep getting your chips in when your a huge favourite and it will pay off.
