was thinking to do something similiar this year, but with more forums envolved.
Run 10 different tourneys over 2 weeks. games like....
1. NO limit holdem,2. pot limit Omaha High,3. 8 game, 4. limit omaha H/L, 5. Razz, 6. Heads up NO limit, 7. Stud H/L, 8. 5 card draw, 9. horse 10. maybe a $10 or $20 no limit.(1 game a night)
We could also add more or take some away. Other games like badugi, stud high, triple traw, limit holdem among others could be added.
Ok people here are some thoughts, Yoda From Hf had a thought for some inter forum fun (master Yoda from FCP) Please post here for other thoughts and ideas and on HF too add to the thread there
HF thread
Last year I let as many fourm members enter each tourney as they wanted, but each had to pay a tax of $1 for each tourney they played. I have different thoughts on this. It was a struggle to keep track of who was who from what forum. I had Ducky and judy each be responsible for their own forums. That helped tons.
We could do the same this year too, but thought maybe we instead of the individual tax, we could tax each forum like $10 or $20 to enter. thus, if we had 9 forums, we would have either a $90 or $180 pot. That money could go to the forum with the over all best points after all events. So no one forum would dominate by numbers, we could limit the number of entries from each forum to any number say 3 if we had 9 forums or more if we could only find less forums.
For now, the only forums I can think of are
PPP
Pokeraddicts
FCP
MPF
HOLDEM freaks
supermoms group
dark blues..
etc
thats 7, but still would have to talk to all of them first. Anyone could suggest others too. Im still up in the air about the money, payouts..let me know what you think

I love the game of poker for the competition, the psychology, the never-ending quest to improve, the advanced and sometimes minute complexities not everyone sees when they play, and the enjoyment of succeeding after giving all your energy to reach a goal that may at first seem unattainable but that you find a way to make it possible.
