Ok, first off, yes I freaking open limp in this game from UTG bc I abuse the ish out of the limp raise.
Anyhow, I'm sitting on $800 and have the table covered. I'd been "lagging it up" early in the session but for once have actually been getting the cards to do so (plus the game started shorthanded).
8 handed. I'm UTG+1 with Ad5d, and decided to flat call the $5 straddle from UTG (who is normally a solid player but has been playing wowbad tonight, hence my stack).
Drunk villain who is random and unpredictable through the sessions I've played with him (but often with bad cards so it's not a bad... lol $25 open with J-3 soooooted) also decides to limp along. He has about $250
ABC TAG player is sitting on about $500. He's your standard 2+2 nit. Seriously. He runs the game so we both have extensive history. He pops it to $25 from the Hijack.
Weak/tight player who is sitting on $150 calls from the button.
Folds to me, I'd normally fold, but drunkie was definately coming along if I call, so I did, and drunkie came along.
Pot $110
Flop: 3 spade 4 club 5 spade
I had checked dark. Drunk checks. Tag thinks and bets $65. Weak/tight player folds.

Just got slow rolled by some random with aces, time to take an automatic weapon to the nearest crowded public space.

"Mixing it up" doesn't magically rationalize anything you do. It's like you walk up to a pencil sharpener, pencil in hand, and think, "Everyone expects me to sharpen this pencil, but I'm going to mix it up." Then you whip out your cock and sharpen that instead and yell, "Ha ha, bitches, you never saw that coming!" Well, no, they didn't. But you still have a dull pencil and bleeding dick.

if the drunk's disinterested,
and if you feel you can get a nit to laydown an overpair, this may not be a bad board to at least call on because it sucks for his range.
I just fold though being OOP and not having hit an ideal flop to a tight PFR (although TPTK is obv tehnutz).

Wait....
Is the title misleading or did you type out the hand wrong?

Is this decision that hard? That easy? That trivial?

I fold being oop against a TAG who bet into 4 players on a board that doesn't hit his opening range very hard. That means his range is heavily weighted to overpairs and flush draws with two overs. You might think you can push him off with a raise, but (and granted I wasn't there) I doubt it. Usually when TAGs cbet in a multiway, wet flop, they aren't folding.

Flops are kind of like vagina's. The wetter they are, the harder you hit them.

TBH I can't think of any other hands in his range, so that assessment is spot on.
