Um........Raise that preflop. On the button. Only one limper. KT suited. Raise that. Bet the flop too. Backdoor flush with the overcards.

Raise preflop, bet the flop, and fold to 2 bets on the turn.
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

In the process of reading SSHE and this hand raises a question for me. One of the points in SSHE I would like clarified:Obviously this hand is good for a preflop raise with only one limper. If the BB and limper both call that raise and the flop comes as is: I wouldn't view this as a scary flop for my hand. I would imagine of course that you would want to bet this flop with the overs and backdoor flush. Of course we don't know how this would correlate to this hand because that isn't what happened. Vade says fold to the raise on the turn. What would the CO possibly be raising with here? You've now hit top pair.Maybe I just need to finish the damned book *lol* For some reason this hand puzzles me though. I hope somebody else chimes in on this here. I think this hand is a good example of why I've taken a break from LHE until I do finish the book......

I really don't know about folding this hand on the turn.Preflop raise no question. Flop I would probably lead out as well with two overs and the backdoor flush draw. The turn you hit your card and everyone else wakes up..the BB probably has a 6 in his hand and figured with no betting going on then he would bet the turn. Have a feeling CO has 10J or 10Q, maybe and I am stretching the maybe, JJ or QQ and he decided to slow play it on that pretty innocent board.I think this changes drastically if you raise preflop and bet the flop.As it stands now, I would have called the turn bets. If he limped with something preflop I don't see it being more then A7 maybe two hearts.River I would check call to get info. I'd be surprised if you are as far behind as you think you are to warrant a fold.

this hand is all screwed upraise pre-flopbet the flopim torn on the turn decision. its a small pot and you are getting 3.75 to 1 here. The BB could have any hand, two pair certainly not out of the question. and UTG could have 57s or a set. or a funky two pair like 64s. and A10 is ahead.reads on the players would help immensely here. i probably call the turn and the river.
i saw him at the riverbank. he was breaking bread and giving thanks. with crosses made of pipes and planks. leaned up against the nitrous tanks.

thanks for the responses.not raising PF was a mistake and i realize that. the hand plays totally different if i raise it.as for the turn i was torn between 3 betting and folding. i figured i didn't want to fight over this small of a pot and let it go. i couldn't see CO raising with top pair.i guess everything started with my mistake PF.

I think 3-betting is the way to go here. Based on how pre-flop and on the flop played out, not much beats you right now.
