Inspired by Phil's goal, I'm setting a realistic one for myself - to make 40k in 2010 (In tracked profits, not net profits after my backing splits.) This thread is also to push Phil to continue his or inspire someone else to do something similar - General Strategy seems like a good place to put these, there isn't much here and it could hopefully bring this section back to life.Anyway...How?I will be running the following (this may be edited later...):Stars: $6.50 - $27 45 mans, $36 and under 180 mans.FTP: All 90 man Turbo KOs, $7.50 9 man Super Turbo and $3.80 45 man Super Turbo.Both: $55 and under Turbo MTTs, and anything else I pick up stakes for along the way.Why?I need to stop being lazy, get in volume and make some money. I want to be able to get into backing again as I did before, and hope to use my rakeback to do so (FPP Satties = T$ = Sell those and use those as money to back people.)I will also be pushing for Supernova, and those profits will count towards my challenge. Below are the numbers. I have not had a good start to this year. I will be being coached by a few SNG crushers starting next week, as well as a couple of MTT ballers as well. March 18th/19th (Overnight)Ugh. Gross start to this. Can't hold on FT bubbles, etc. But this isn't a bad beat thread.I should be clearing GoldStar for March soon, my FPP satties should be able to cover a bit of my downswing.I will be posting HHs as this goes, but avoiding bad beats, there haven't been any interesting ones.Update will be posted when this grindfest ends. It's not going well so far. Looking to spike something soon though.

What fpp satties do you play? I'm trying to find better ones that are quicker than the 70fpp STTs for the 1/4 mil. They are like printing money but take too long to make a few bucks. I wouldn't mind finding decent hyper sats. The 3r has 84fpp hyper 6max stts that are ridiculously good, but would rather find something in the 150-200fpp range that are the same.And sigh at your start

280 FPP to the 1/4 Mill. 6 Max, top 2 get, very time-efficient and easy. If you prefer something easier I think there's some to the 11R which have a 750 chip start and not a 500 chip start, I prefer the 500 though. Very easy to make a bonus $100+ a month putting in standard GoldStar volume. I turned it around a tad, but AK < A6 for a 100k stack 5 handed in a 12/180 prevented me from robustoing. Putting another session in with that other tard who has a new thread around here now.

Depends on your stakes/volume. Starting Tuesday I will be coached by a couple of 180 man regs and turbo MTT ballers who have me on a target of grinding $36 180s and $27 45s with regularity by the end of April.

decided im gonna start putting in the $9 hyper turbo 6 max to $22 SCOOP when i dont have time for a full set, hopefully i can run around 6% in them and build a little bit more, everything helps.up to date as of this post, turned the bad start around.

Bad day yesterday, good day in the wee morning hours today.Hovering around the $4k mark, gonna have to do some work. Starting to add $27 45s, $36 180s, and $55 and under Turbo MTTs, probably the best value for me.

Adding live cash results that FCPers are around to witness so that it's not like I'm BSing it.Went +$627 at 1/3 today with Ko8e34 obv. Running like ass in SNGs tonight can't win a flip to save my life. Variance starting to kick in again a bit. Oh well.Hoping SCOOP treats me well this year, or that I can bink a couple more big scores. Also hope I keep smashing 1/3 @ Morongo like I did today.

heh, i don't think it matters if you have witnesses. the only person you are challenging is yourself, so lying about any would be pretty ridiculous.
