I'm BB with 68o, family pot. Flop comes 79k and I flop a straight draw. Turn is a 5 and I have the nuts. I bet $1, another guy makes it $3, button makes it $8, I make it $15 and the other guy goes all in for $50. Other guy calls, of course I go all in with the nuts. Turn is another 5 and they flip over 77 and 99 for rivered boats to beat me.

that's not a bad beat they had a decent amount of outs

That is clearly not a bad beat, for you or for the guy with the pocket 7's, as you were both way behind before the flop. Sorry about you luck, but that's poker :wink:
