The steakhouse at the Hard Rock was good when we had the FCP dinner there last year. The bone-in ribeye was very good.

Carnevino and Cut.... tie for first imo.CUT for kobe wagyu beef and more interesting appetizers, desserts, otherwise Carnevino for redic aged steak. Both outstanding.SW at WynnN9NECraftsteakDelmonicoall very good imo. That Hard Rock place surprised me as well. That was a damn tasty dinner! Hip/clubby atmosphere too.Honorable mention (and a place I would happily return to again and again) Lawrys. Yes, like the seasoned salt Lawrys. This is delicious Prime rib, served old school style with mashed potatoes and gravy. F-ing yummy. And there's always In-n-Out (Animal) style obv, for the cheap. Better than Buger Bar imo, which I think has slipped a bit recently.Golden Steer steered us wrong. I had high hopes....but alas, fail boat.

Try Lure at the Wynn. It's a club where you can hear yourself think if you want and has a cool outside patio. Had one night of my bachelor party there was a good time.

Any suggestions then?Lure sounds good but why isnt it on the Wynn or Encore website? I been to Tryst, we got a table but it was way in the back which kind of sucked.

I just checked that out myself. I think they might have expanded Lure and turned it into to XS which also looks pretty cool. Sorry if my advice was out of date....

I'm not really into dance clubs which is why I stay away from a lot of the high profile places.I have been hanging out at the hard rock the last 2 or 3 times in Vegas. The pools are amazing, and last time I went me and my buddies just hung out at the circle bar smack in the middle of the casino floor. There is an overabundance of women who are easy to talk to and overall it's just fun.Aside from night clubs and stuff like that, I really enjoy gambling and the overall atmosphere at MGM. I try to stay on that side of the strip just about every time I go to Vegas.

Was there the 15th to the 17th. Mandalay bay poker room was pretty empty but I was there from noon to about 230. Tropicana was good if you like lower limit black jack and craps, didn't play poker there.

It kinda depends who's spinning but yeah, the Ghost Bar is a tad dated. The Palms nightlife in general is pretty solid though. Are you gonna go the bottle service route? If so I'd pick one of the other clubs there, which should get you access and wristbands to all 4 of them (GB, Rain, Playboy Club, Moon). If not I'd get the All Access pass which does the same. That way you can move around if you're not feeling one spot.Vanity @ Hard Rock is cool, XS and Tao are probably the "hottest". Surrender is cool too, it's around the pool @ Encore.

What an awful gamble. You're giving away a huge edge on the best years of your life for the reward of a little (false) job security, a dental plan, and a pension that you're not even sure if it will be enough to allow you to retire. Heck, will it even be there? Who's exactly gambling? I see your bullsh*t that you've been told by your parents, and raise you my lifetime of happiness (STRING RAISE!). -OTD
