Didn't get any uptake on the idea for my report card goals thread in the general forum so I thought I'd just start it here for myself and see if anyone wants to join in.Goals for the 2nd half of Feb:1) Figure out how to make money at 10NL Rush. With no reads on opponents I feel like I never know where I stand and I've had several losing sessions in a row. I'm starting to experiment with 4BB standard raises rather than 3BB since people seem to call 3BB pretty widely (especially defending their blinds). Also trying to reduce the frequency of getting deep into pots in marginal spots. Tighten up considerably in early/middle position and stop completing the small blind. Finally, try to bring the VPIP and PFR closer together - throw in some raises rather than limping behind.2) Pull the trigger earlier in the late stages of 45-turbos. I'm running pretty well lately but too often I find myself getting blinded down to a useless stack, especially in the beginning phases of the final table. Going to have to put my stack on the line in some marginal spots more often if I want to increase my percentage of deep finishes.

Yeah, looks like I've found some Rush leaks. Monthly goals updated accordingly.Posted Image

Granted I don't know FR, and this sample is tiny, but you seem to be very tight, like your BTN's VPIP isn't all that different from your other later positions; in fact, it's lower.

Feb goals: Get to 500 games for the last 2 weeks of February, be +1k in SNGs minimum, continue doing well in MTTs (Deep F40 run + 2nd in $22 HU) esp. the 4 mil, make enough to make rent for next month + have extra left.Gonna be tough.

Probably has a lot to do with the fact that there is frequently a raise in front when I'm on the button, so I actually get more stealing opportunities in the prior late positions. Full ring Rush does seem to be taggier than regular 10NL, where you're more likely to see open-limps. The ability to quick-fold marginal hands and immediately get dealt another one means less early-mid position limping, and more middle-late position open-raising.

In the spirit of the report card theme (see my original post in the general forum), can you specify aspects of your game you'd like to work on to help you achieve your goals?

Running good.My game is solid enough to run consistently between 8%-14% which is 2nd tier for a 45 man grinder. I'm not worried about improving for the rest of February. I'm worried about making money, and I'll grade myself on that.

What ROI is considered 1st tier for 45's?
