$.05/$.10 NL on GamesGridIm Big Blindcursive34 has [Qd,Qh] UTG raises to $.504 callers, 3 foldscursive34 raises $3.00UTG calls, rest foldFLOP (Pot is $8.00)4s, 9s, 9dcursive34 raises $14 and is all-inUTG folds.two questions:1. was the preflop raise high enough since there were 4 calls should i have bumped it up more figureing my queens should be safe since probably have high cards?2. Was the all-in too much should i have just bet the pot or was i right in protecting my hand against a flush draw and high cards?

I probably would have raised a little bit more preflop, but it's really personal preference. It's an effective raise at leastI like the allin...you can't bet anything less without being potcommitted.NH
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

I like your play. The raise may have been a little too much. It looks like Jacks or 10s to me. The kind of hand you want to get head up with badly. Nonetheless, it acheived the desired effect. I like your post flop bet(2X the pot). $8 in the pot with a vulnerable overpair, I take it down ASAP.

Agreed. I actually think the preflop raise was fine considering the size of the blinds and that you did raise the UTG 6x his raise, which IMHO is just fine. I like the all-in play as well, same reason as Vade. 8)

You played that hand perfectly, in my opinion.

Nh.Probably could have gotten away with a pot bet, but why censored around, with that you're in for it all, might as well stick it in there and see what he does.EDIT: Boy, that really read bad
