It added a little extra intrigue to the beginning of the season.I don't see why fans would be turned off by this. Whether it affects a team as far as all that travel and adjusting to the time difference or not, I'd rather not chance it. And a large percentage of the best players in the world hail from Europe. Imagine if the best players were all from Canada, but the NHL played only in Europe. Wouldnt it be smart to export that product a little to a place where you know the fan base is rabid and has a stake in the players? Link to post Share on other sites
