it was a tourney...I had the lead pre-flop and on every street but the river. It's called a bad beat, not whining, dumbazz.

Only after you have lost everything, are you free to do anything.

It most certianly is a bad beat. When it got ready for the river, they guy had exactly 4 outs, and caught one of them. Are you trying to say that when Ferguson won match 2 (of 3) against Hellmuth by catching one of his 4 outs on the river, it wasn't a bad beat for Phil. Give your head a shake, man. I had the lead the entire way, and lost when I was a huge favorite to win. That is the very definition of a bad beat.

Hey Rocket, this probably isn't going to make you feel any better, but it might, (and I'm not at all trying to piss in your wheaties) but the PRE-flop odds of TT vs. AK is exactly 56.5% to 43.5%. That's an edge for sure, but not a dominating position. Now ... if you'd had the opportunity to push POST-flop, after flopping a set, then yeah, losing when you're an 83% - 17% favorite hurts. But given that you were forced all-in pre-flop, it really was a race situation. The fact that he got there by hitting runner-runner sucks, but it doesn't change the pre-flop, more-or-less coin-flip odds.

I know that it is called a coin-flip pre-flop, but I WAS in the lead. Then, after the flop, I was way out in front, and lost on the river. It IS a bad beat, and talking about it certainly doesn't make me feel any better...lol
