So the first series I have finished watching at cardrunners is Kush's Live Sessions: Rush Poker. The series isn't finished but I've watched the 5 available eps so far. For the first 3 eps Kush replays a video of himself 4 tabling FR Rush at 50NL and comments on his play and for eps 4 & 5 the action is bumped up to 100NL, there is a cameo from one of the posters in this thread in epsiode 4. What I have picked up from this series along with some of the other videos I have watched on cardrunners is that I may be c-betting too and not pot controlling enough. My flop cbet is something like 80% while some of the video producers seem to suggest that 50-60% is a better range as you don't want to be turning some hands into a bluff or getting c/r off your decent equity in some spots. I also have gone a bit far with my new toy 3 bet squeezing, there are probably some spots I could call and play against a range I dominate even OOP and make ze money. One thing that Kush talks about is when he is in CO/button he just folds small pairs when he would he heads up against an EP raiser as he does not think they are likely to pay him off when he hits. This seems a little counter intuitive to me as I would have thought players with tight rangers are more likely to put money into the pot. Pretty good series though if you are already somewhat familiar with full ring and looking to transition to rush.
O RLY? Do tell. (I may go watch it anyway later, but I'm curious.)Also, I'm a cbet monkey...think mine's like 80-85%. :club:

hope you root beer'd the instructor and he spewed ;)Perhaps you should apply to be an instructor at bluefire. Galfond would be proud of the use of and loyalty to the root beer.

It's not that interesting of a pot. You open, Kush calls on the button, caller in the blinds. KTX flop, blind checks, you cbet and kush folds. So you will have to tell us if you took it down or not, the video ends on a cliff hanger as kush folded.

I like his c/betting advice :club: . I thought I was the only player in the whole world who didn't c/bet all that often
I don't remember what I was watching where I heard it, but I know Phil Galfond commented that Dwan doesn't cbet very often. I believe his reasoning was because Tom is confident that he can make better decisions than most opponents on the turn and river.

So maybe i've gone crazy with overwhelming myself with too much info/tables... but is it me or have all cash tables become significantly more difficult in general?I could use some basic protips on where to brush up as I want to stop grinding SNGs the moment my working BR is a healthy K again.

Just got slow rolled by some random with aces, time to take an automatic weapon to the nearest crowded public space.

"Mixing it up" doesn't magically rationalize anything you do. It's like you walk up to a pencil sharpener, pencil in hand, and think, "Everyone expects me to sharpen this pencil, but I'm going to mix it up." Then you whip out your cock and sharpen that instead and yell, "Ha ha, bitches, you never saw that coming!" Well, no, they didn't. But you still have a dull pencil and bleeding dick.

So since I feel like I have a decent enough $25 NLHE graph, last night decided to play a 4 hour session of $50 NLHE. I really timed out. He has more combos of sets and flush draws then miracle 45, 24 draws. Usually timing out screws you over completely. That is why I love this hand.

igoring results...I thought about raising turn, but wouldnt that fold out lots of his Aces? Also arent I in a very tough spot if I get re-raised? If i flat and then villain checks the river i can value bet and get called by an Ace, hoping he'd think i missed hearts.
