This type of spot always pains me. I have the ladies, but there is a lot of aggression going on before me. What is the best COA here? For instance, if I raise to 500, I won't fold to villain going over the top. Its one of the first hands so assume no reads.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 11 Tournament, 10/20 Blinds (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Replayer from Poker Hands ReplayerPosted ImageCO (t1500)Button (t1490)SB (t1480)Avii (BB) (t1530)UTG (t1500)UTG+1 (t1500)MP1 (t1500)MP2 (t1500)MP3 (t1500)Avii's M: 51.00Preflop: Avii is BB with Q :club:, Q :ts5 folds, CO bets t60, Button raises to t140, 1 fold, Hero (t0) ?

I would smooth call and reevaluate on the flop. A lot of times this is a big suited A. If the flop comes without and A I would hit it pretty hard.

I think it's flat/fold.Folding might seem weak, but it's early and you'll be playing your queens out of position in what looks like a marginal situation.I would flat . If the CO repops and the button shoves, you can lay down your queens.Post-flop, on a safe flop, you're probably getting it in. Hitting a Q would be nice.

OMG! I'm flatting, too! And folding to aggression with an A/K on the board! Otherwise, I'm looking for good board texture and looking forward to losing to a set!

Tnx for the replies. I was really lost. If I flat, we may see CO's real intentions. D is in a position of abuse, IMO, which is just what he is doing. I guess I would hate an Ace flop a lot more than a King flop, but that's just me.

basically same flop imo just depends on which one has AQ, or AK and which one has something else very big
