Dude. Screw you. Seriously. You have this wonderful ability to act like your opinion is the only one that can POSSIBLY make any sense. Time and again you make statementls like this where someone is just plain wrong or couldn't possibly disagree with your opinion. That the only way to see a situation is the way YOU see it. Yes. Protection is important. But he did not play well in this game. In my opinion, Romo has been over-hyped having never really done much. Stats? What stats are working his favor to make him look anything other than around Average? He has a career QB rating of 95. Better than Average, but not that great.

No, Romo isn't the most overrated player of the decade. People put too much emphasis on the lastest game, on small sample sizes. Players "can't" win the big game, until they win the big game. It's not a 'can't' Issue. I would actually say Romo is underrated, because people focus too much on a couple games and not the totality of his work. No one claims that he's one of the best 5 qb's in the league ( other than maybe the most crass Dallas homer) but he's certainly in the top ten. Also, you can't over emphasize how huge losing flossel adams is to that game.

Onside kick is the right move there. You're giving yourself a chance to get the ball back. If you don't get it, they're at worst case 48-yd field goal range. Most times they're not even risking a missed field goal from that far out, and they're punting to you with about 1:40 left. Assuming they execute a perfect punt and pin you inside the 10, where would you have gotten the ball if you kicked off, on average your own 35? So, you're sacrificing ~25 yds in field position for a chance to get the ball back immediately at your own 40 with over 2:00 minutes left and one timeout.If they kick a field goal, that's ok too. A touchdown still wins the game and you're getting the ball at ~30 yard line with 1:40 left.And you don't use a timeout before the 2-minute warning if there's only time for one play. You don't give the offense the option to run or pass, since the clock stops on an incompletion anyway. You eat those 5 or 6 seconds and call the timeout on after the next play, which you know will only be a run.

God whoever was the color man on that game was the worst. (I think it was Dan Fouts- he is awful) "Ohh, I didn't even consider a field goal, I was too concerned with whether they should go for it on 4th down...." OR WHAT STUPID?!?!? PUNT? I picked the Jets to cover but I never thought they would win that game. What a crazy 4th quarter. How ironic. The Colts handed the Jets the win they needed to make the playoffs and now they have to beat the Jets to get to the Super Bowl.
