Tarvold 0
If you've already picked off a few raises this way he may be playing back at you. But with stack sizes so close together, I really don't feel getting it all in there with AJ is best. He may be shoving 10s+ or have you crushed with AQ, AK. My opinion is that I would wait for a better spot/better hand. If it were HU, I'd probably call, but with a short stack in there, I'd wait.
donk4life 34
raise folding here is kinda bad IMO, I would have just jammed over the initial raise. I think this is a fairly easy call.I'm going to go out on a limb and say you didn't win this hand though.

My thought would be with a stack like his: a big ace, 7s+. what are your thoughts?

So it seems the general consensus is that it should be a 3bet shove pre. No one worries about tangling with the 2nd CL with a tiny shorty still clinging on like an old turd to a dogs ass? I guess my real question is why the r/f is so bad? Perhaps I'm just too nitty, but seems like to be in a coinflip here is wasteful and can make or break the tournament for us. donk4life 34
Because r/fing here basically turns AJ suited (which is a very strong hand 3 handed) into a bluff, and obviously that's not what we want to do here. Given the action, we're getting the right price to call, and in some cases we'll be a strong favorite in the hand, which makes this a fairly easy call.

I was thinking along those lines, but just wasn't sure.
rrumsey 0
i would just jam it pre, call just commits us anyways, and a raise is really too strong given he jams over us a lot and we are stuck in a marginal spot, if we were stronger we could maybe take this line,... but just jam over his open and block all his options, we get more folding equity, and it makes things a lot easier for us to play it right. And when we do have a big hand in a similar spot later, we probably get called bc of this line we have shown.also, we have a decent hand if he calls, so yah,...
