i could make this show a lot more understandable. you guys going back and forth with your piddly little arguments. who's gotta better sluggin numbers. who's gotta a better popawopbip. you guys remember the popawopbip? percentage of plate appearances without putting the ball in play. mel allen taught me that.

Hoch's sean connery sounds SO much like Bane, I can't believe he hasn't seen the movie.

I'm glad Hochman is back. I like Mike Ryan and think he's sort of sneaky funny, like a poor man's Hoch, but the show is better with Hoch.

I think that Hock is going to leave the show soon, because he can't keep doing the morning show and then producing dan's show, and being a show host has to be more lucrative than producing a show, better for his long term career.

Do you listen to the morning show? I thought that was going to stop after the playoffs, but I guess their ratings or whatever are pretty good? I can only handle so much of Stugotz without Dan.

i stopped listening to the morning show once the playoffs ended. i'll only listen if its stugotz and hooch. i don't want anyone else in my life.

Caliemdo show was awesome. He's a pro. He did a morning show around here and talked to them like they were best buddies as well.

Now it's Hoch and zazlow, which is an odd combo. Hoch knows nothing about sports, and is all about driving hacky radio bits, and zazlow is a SUPER south florida sports fan. I enjoy it,but i don't listen to it much

I like Zazlow. I don't have the time or desire to listen to another sports radio show though.When he first did the Connery, I totally thought it sounded like Bane, but not as much the more he did it.

I haven't. I can't remember which one, but one of the last new they did had me crying laughing in the car. I'm easy though because the sentence, and I'm paraphrasing here "my arbitron rating was a 28. You hip bums are lucky if you get a 6. GOOD DAY." absolutely slays me. If I could learn how to cut that clip up, I'd have it on my phone, and "yeah hi, Lomardo" would be my ring tone.

Lebatard is going to be off until after Labor Day. I think they're going to be running some best of shows along with a generous portion of Stugotz.

Wow, listened to Stugotz and Mike Ryan today, from yesterday. Part of it was super painful. Just bad. They type of show Dan would instantly turn off and mock. Stugotz's game of 3 and only 3 was cute, for a minute but he said it like 30 times, then they took some irritating calls (creepy, over explainer guy that suggested pineapple for the ladies) and rules explanations. Just got so old, fast. Would never check in again if Dan quit.

I gave yesterdays show a go this morning. Wow, just not good. And he started again with the "THREE, and ONLY three" crap. He says it over and over. Like 8 times inside of a minute. I shit you not, I almost threw my own phone out the window to make it stop.

He repeats himself so much in almost everything he says. His interviews are the worst. He spends like 90 seconds on unnecessary set-up for a totally standard question. To be fair, it's probably really hard to host a show for four hours every day, which makes what Dan does that much more impressive since he doesn't rely on callers at all. I like everyone who works on the show, but Stugotz only works as a tool for Dan to work with.
