Hello! As <8 of you probably remember we did this last year too. Here's the new rules (only change I can remember from last year is no more D categories and players pick the order for rounds 2 and 3)

Pass O - Pass TD (TD after INT = - 1), Pass Yards
Run O - Run TD (TD after fumble = - 1), Run Yards
Total O - Points (any points directly coming from Turnovers (including XP) are negative), Total Yards
O Dominance - Time of Possession, Scoring Differential


1. Wild Card Week

Each of our 8 participants will pick one team from each of the 4 bolded team breakdowns above in a snake style draft. (8 participants pick from 32 team breakdowns in a 4 round snake style draft).

Scoring is against EVERYONE else. This means 8 team breakdowns against 7 other opponents for 56 comparisons.

Top 4 scores move to the next week

2. Divisional Week

players choose their keepers in secret. #1 scorer from WCW picks when they'd like to draft in the snake order. #2 has second choice and so on. Keepers are revealed upon the first pick. Again each team only gets ONE team from each of the team breakdowns. Note that the pool from which to draft includes teams who had a bye week, teams from participants that finished 5-8 in WCW, and non-kept teams.

Scoring done the same way. Top two go to the final

3. The Final

Consists of the Conference Title games and the Superbowl

#1 scorer from DW gets to choose when they'll pick. still a snake draft. still only get ONE team from each team breakdown. (Please note that Scoring Differential from O Dominance also includes W-L record as part of the scoring so if my team goes to the Superbowl and yours does not, I cannot lose this category. This is to prevent someone from picking a Superbowl team losing this category because of a blowout in the Superbowl)

Note that any ties are first settled by head to head record in that round then by scoring rank in previous round. If there's a meaningful tie in the WCW I will shoot myself which will cause a coin to be flipped. First officer on the scene will be left a note as to what they should do.


Draft will occur on this forum starting when all the matchups are settled for the Wild Card Week. I'll use random.org to get the draft order. All scoring will be done using ESPN stats.

Example scoring

O-Dominance: if the Bengals control the ball for 32 minutes and win by 22 points and the Patriots control the ball for 42 minutes and win by 5 points then the scoring for this category is 1-1 since the Bengals won by more but controlled the ball for less time
