I usually wouldn't post stuff like this, but FCP has been slow as molasses this weekend.

With the holidays right around the corner, just wondering what you guys thought about the idea of a pokerstars giftcard? of course this wouldn't be limited to pokerstars only, but anyway

I often gave my dad and sister pokerstars mobneys as gifts when I knew they liked playing but didn't have real money online. They definitely liked it.

PokerRoom.com didn't allow you to transfer money to other players but they allowed you to purchase gift cards for them that they could use to play with.

That was a great feature, not a physical gift cards, but you could print out the gift card or e-mail it to them and they just enter in the code and get the cash.

Oh how I miss pokerroom network sad.gif

I love the game of poker for the competition, the psychology, the never-ending quest to improve, the advanced and sometimes minute complexities not everyone sees when they play, and the enjoyment of succeeding after giving all your energy to reach a goal that may at first seem unattainable but that you find a way to make it possible.

That's a cool idea, I'd like that gift.

Cool story. A close friend (which happened to be a chick) invited me to her wedding. I knew that she really liked poker as did her fiance. I gave them money in their card at the wedding and then also transferred her a good sum on her poker acct without telling her.

After she got back from her honeymoon she went on and found it. She was pretty excited and surprised.
