GOCUBSGO 77
Been a lurker for many years, but my job and other commitments have prevented me from actually playing poker regularly and being part of this community on a regular basis. I have decided that I want to start playing on a regular basis and become involved more in everything poker related.I've had moderate success in the past, mainly in MTT's etc. I've won numerous MTT's ranging from 2k-5k. Typically I would cash out almost all of those winnings, and usually go broke with the remaining amount. I would stop playing until I got another urge, and start again building up a bankroll. I've played on Stars, Tilt, AP, UB. Currently I am only playing on UB.Right now my current bankroll sits at $2,580~ I'm looking for a coach to help me with bankroll management, but mainly to help coach me through MTT's, Satellites, and Cash games. I have never used any poker tracking software nor have I ever tracked my results. I know that I have many leaks in my game, and I want to get some feedback on my play. Right now I play around 20 hours a week (that amount could go up significantly with my renewed dedication). Most hours would be on Saturday/Sunday since I do not work on those days. What I'm looking for in a coach--Knowledgeable-Experienced - proof that you actually know what your doing or I will not consider you-Flexible Schedule - I can't play every night and my schedule does change from time to time-Age - 21+ onlyCompensation would be negotiableHourly pay (obviously I only have a bankroll of around ~2500, so I cant pay anyone $100/hr ) I would only consider this if we have success.% of tournament winningsIf anyone is interested in being my "poker mentor/coach" PM me or post here. Also if anyone has hired a coach, please feel free to leave any tips, suggestions, or point me in the right direction.-J
ncperrotta069 0
i think asking for a coach for tournaments and cash games isn't the best way to go. most tournament players aren't good at cash games and vice versa, i think you would be alot better off looking for one or the other. GOCUBSGO 77
Thanks for the feedback.I do enjoy playing cash games, but I seem to have very good success playing in MTT's. I would rather focus on tournament play at this point. I only play NLHE MTT's currently.I mainly play full ring MTT's, but occasionally will play 6 handed tournies, turbo tournies, and satellites. My buy ins rangefrom $5-30~ I usually try to satellite into anything bigger than that. Ko8e34 0
Not sure why age is a factor here. One of our most successful members here is <21 and anyone who got coaching from him would be incredibly lucky. Might want to remove that stipulation although anyone interested would probably be over 21.
