(i didnt really try very hard either)but anyways, i contacted the guy from sho'down and basically said. his stuff blows. i have a better idea.so he responded. I then sent him the content, and his reply was wow. great minds think alike. maybe we could use this design... anyways.. long story short. And yet, it’s safe to say these are only true because players either win, or purchase goods with frequent player points.The following information was formed by research and analysis on poker players, professional and recreational.Since the introduction of online poker, we can measure just how far and wide poker has stretched in popularity. Forums and sites are filled with enthusiasts. The large majority of these players are low stakes recreational players.From their point of view, poker is more than a game played by gamblers from Las Vegas. It’s a way of life. These are not high stakes players, but rather low limit players (specifically males aged 16 – 30) who will spend countless hours at their computer or sitting in a live game at a local brick and mortar.Poker by definition is a game of mixed skill and chance, yet many of these enthusiasts would argue that it is very much a sport to them, or at the very least, a hobby. I thought, man i could use a neck pillow.. then thought, man i could use some clothes designed for sitting in a casino for 11 hours.I tried to get the idea off the ground but didnt have the resources to properly launch it. and it eventually fizzled. I'm not sure if it's just the color of the chip or just the shape of it in general but it looks awkward, sticks out a little too much. Many pockets (like 8-10), mp3 earbud hookup around the neck area. It's one of the most comfortable pieces of clothing I have worn. It keeps you warm yet is breathable as well.TBH, I wouldn't see myself wearing many poker related clothing such as the gear on Shodown, but i would wear that hoodie of yours. I guess what the general population of poker players I know are looking for is comfort. I guess what I am saying is that the design of your sample, is yes, poker related, but not "over-the-top" poker related in design. Link to post Share on other sites

But could be anything.You're not selling "poker clothes" you're selling clothes design for poker players.Think of it this way.. You wear a burton hoodie on the weekend while playing at your local B&M. you're wearing it because its nice, well made.. and you like snowboarding.If burton design snowboard apparel that was cheaply made and has pictures of cartoon snowboarders with flames and printed lettering like "slaash the pow!"you probably woouldnt wear it.same idea can be applied here. I wouldnt put flaming aces, or terms like "pocket rockets!" on the gear. I don't want to wear something that will be a conversation starter... a lot of people look down on poker and "gamblers" and I'm never really in the mood to try to explain why it's not gambling and answer the "how much of have you lost in a day?" questions. I bought a long sleeve Ed Hardy t-shirt for my Halloween costume and it was easily the most retarded piece of clothing I have ever purchased.
