The final table is 30 minutes away.

Ivey gets a message that Andy Beal is sitting in bobbys room waiting for someone to play heads up 100k-200k, but only for the next 12 hrs.

What does he do?

He calls Matt Hawrilenko and puts him into the game to play Beal heads up and plays the WSOP final table.

Easy one.

He tells Chief Hawk to eat his butt and plays the final table.
“We had all the momentum. We were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave. So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look west, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark, that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.” —Raoul Duke, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas

someone could offer him 20 million not to play the final table and he'd still play.

Id actually put the # closer to 100 milly and maybe even priceless.

You really thuink he would turn down 100mill to sit out ?

I would think since hes kinda shortstacked, hed play like a total maniac the first hour and reevaluate his chances.

Although he has the bankroll to play those limits, I don't think he would enjoy it much, he is obviously playing the final table that took him 8 days of sacrifice.

yah I actually think this is one of the few things that is important to him. I don't think the 8 million matters to him.

....and ....."F" Andy Beal for always trying to call the shots and control everything. If you read the book he is obviously compulsive. The best thing you could do to him is turn him down....cause then he'll be back with a better deal.

Id kinda like to hear daniel's opinion on it.. But i'd be willing to bet that if someone asked ivey if he would sit out of the main event for 25 million dollars he would instantly say no.

And i dont think its particularly close.

Has anybody seen the new Full Tilt commercials with Phil Ivey about the Final Table? One's talking about Ivey's rag to riches story, and the other about how Phil Ivey's life is no fairy tale. They are straight up sick, some of the best poker commercials ever imo. They've definitely got me ****ing pumped.

Only found the link to one of them online.

Easy answer. He demolishes the FT in less than 5 hours, hits the golf course for a 4 hour round, and then heads to Bellagio and takes Beal for 10 million in the final 3 hours.

He's Phil fucking Ivey. He gets the WSOP final table moved to the Bellagio and multi-tables the shit out of the ME and Andy Beal.
