We just hate so many turns that it's probably best to just get it in.
dingas 0
I prefer re-raising it on the flop. I don't really see why you would just call.
BaseJester 1
3 bet flop. You have a blocker queen, so you're not likely up against top set. I think you could consider looking for a blank on the turn if you have position, but not in this case where you're out of position.
Shark527 0
This type of flop hits more wrap/flush draws than top set. There are enough combo's of those draws that your middle set could be a dog equity wise if you were to 3 bet flop and try to get it all in.I think you took a good line here by waiting for the blank turn.Although, depending on your villian, could he be repoppin your flop bet with something as simple as a QJ? I think 3betting flop is a read dependent move here.
BaseJester 1
I think it's easy to overestimate the significance of being a dog to a big draw. Even in a brutal case the set isn't far behind.twodimes pokenum -o qh jc jh 9s - kd ad ts 9h -- qd jd 7s Omaha Hi: 820 enumerated boards containing 7s Qd Jdcards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV9s Jc Qh Jh 353 43.05 467 56.95 0 0.00 0.430Ts Ad Kd 9h 467 56.95 353 43.05 0 0.00 0.

I think 3betting flop is a read dependent move here. The times villain has bottom set or a weaker draw makes us a favorite against his range, even taking into account that we are sometimes a dog to a monster draw. A call on the flop would be okay if we did not have a Q in our hand (because of the greater likelihood of being against top set). As it is, a reraise is best.
