I love the game of poker for the competition, the psychology, the never-ending quest to improve, the advanced and sometimes minute complexities not everyone sees when they play, and the enjoyment of succeeding after giving all your energy to reach a goal that may at first seem unattainable but that you find a way to make it possible.

At the moment only 2 at a time, though a few months ago I played 8-10. I find it really helps my game to have good reads on all opponents, and to take enough time for my decisions. The bad thing is that as a result, my volume is ridiculousy low for an MTT player. I play 50-80 tournaments per month where most play hundreds and some even thousands. I'm trying to reduce variance by mainly playing tournaments with less than 500 players, but nevertheless, when the inevitable downswing hits it is probably going to last for half a year or so. :club:

I'm not too good at having luck at final tables, it seems. JJ<AA. Oh well, another 5th to add to the list, and a decent 1.7k score. Happy about my play. Thanks for the rail everyone! I promise I'll take one down some day...

Nice start to december: FT of the 50 cubed on Stars (234010704), after possibly the longest bubble I ever played. Coming in 2/9, 7k for first.
