uhm we have a very marginal bluff catcher and yah it is possible that a pocket pair could be donking this river but personally imo it kind of reeks of a bad player who does know how to set up a good river shove and is donk shoving a decent hand here, im so shocked he checked turn thou so maybe he was idk trying to underplay his hand (as weird as that may seem). Personally i don't think villain was thinking at all in this hand. I fold bc i just hate to see overbets and without seeing him get caught doing this, it is a big time hero call for almost your whole stack. i think your line was pretty good and a fold on river looks fine IMOI see what you are thinking thou, like 5's-2's A6 of spades and that is all. We lose to all 10x hands, as well as overpairs to the board and of course the blue moon when he has quads, some if not most seem a little akward to show up here but i mean it is 10nl do not be suprised by anything. But i mean if he is going to donk around this badly surely over the course of an hour we can have a better spot where we stack him. If he has ANY piece of this board we just got slayed by a donk doing a donk move.I mean i love to try and hero call when possible, but not to double someone up. Its a weird hand. Im folding with little regret thou. Yah he must have misplayed his hand but it is a micro stakes game, villains misplaying hands is the name of the game

smells like an 8 to meor at least a 10+1 on the trivial fold
checking an 8 on that turn is just so wrong by villain...straight and flush draw out there plus i bet flop... i think if he had an 8 he raises flop and for sure would bet the turn.. would u check lets say Ah8h on that turn?

i fold here.. unless i have some solid reads and seen this player donking off all his chips this is an easy foldi've seen alot of players check down to the river only to make a huge bet holding the best handhowever, i see now you have .30cents of your 10$ stack committed, and a mediocre hand , so this is an easy call

i wouldnt necessarily say this is an easy call, because its not.i had raised to 30 cents and c-bet 50cents.. so i have a little more committed.also because we have so little committed and a mediocre hand doesnt make this an auto easy call.... its a tough spot and probably a fold for hero without reads.
