Zealous Donkey 0
Does this bother anyone else?http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/10/21/...in5404829.shtmlIf you've been diagnosed "probable" or "presumed" 2009 H1N1 or "swine flu" in recent months, you may be surprised to know this: odds are you didn’t have H1N1 flu. In fact, you probably didn’t have flu at all. That's according to state-by-state test results obtained in a three-month-long CBS News investigation.
vbnautilus 49
Overestimation is safer than underestimation.edit: just read the article.. they are saying people will mistakenly think they are immune if they thought they have had it. I guess that makes sense.

Mercury69 3
Would anyone care to confirm or deny that Donald Rumsfeld was once a high ranking exec and a current significant stockholder of Gilead Sciences, a company which was granted over 1 billion in emergency funding by the American government in 2005 to prepare Tamiflu vaccine against the possibility of the bird flu pandemic? Tamiflu vaccine is, apparently, being touted as a solid bet against swine flu, our latest pandemic love affair.Kind of old news, I guess, but worth mentioning in light of the current panicdemic
nutzbuster 7
Dr. Bob Martin sites a recent study that concluded that those getting a Swine flu shot are TWICE AS LIKELY TO GET THE SWINE FLU.The promised October roll out of vaccine is now being delayed until January in some States, too late many say to do any good. (and just another example of Government trying to handle something and fuking it up completely.)I'll pass on the vaccine and just keep washing my hands, thanks.

Well for sure his training and approach is more in line with the holistic/natural/alternative aspect of science and medicine. But he is a brilliant guy.But that said, his tact on health could lead one to believe that perhaps politically he might be more inclined to lean left.If that were the case....keeping all his medical and scientific training remaining the same...if he were a Democrat, would you/other left folks still feel the same way about him? JubilantLankyLad 1,960
wait, what? What do his politics have to do with anything? i've never heard of him prior to your bringing him up, and i assure you, i don't know or care which way he leans. a quick look at his website and i dismiss anything he has to say (there could be some truthy stuff in there, i don't know) because he doesn't appear credible. like most kooks.(translated for BG: BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA)

Sal Paradise 57
went into my local cvs today and there were people lined up around the inside of the store, I'm assuming to get a swine flu shot. only thing I could think of is how the absolute best way for one to get the flu would be to stand in close proximity, in an enclosed environment, right next to a bunch of other people who are thinking they may get sick.fucking idiots.
