Or should I have just bet out?EDIT: I was planning a stop-n-go on the river, but when the A hit I decided it was check-call time.

Yeah, I wasn't sure how to get value on it - I was afraid betting out would be transparent and fold everybody. Was gonna try a stop-n-go until the A hit on the river - I couldn't see him calling with a worse hand at that point, so I opted to check-call.You don't like the preflop completion? I figure I'm 5-1 to flop a K, and I'm against two limpers and two random hands.

K6 from the SB really sucks. You have poor position and bad reverse implied odds.

check/raise the turn if youre not going to bet out. a stop n go would require you leading the turn, calling a bet, then betting out the river. there was no go, you just stopped.

I see your point, and maybe this hand helps illustrate it - short of flopping 2-pair, it would be a hard hand to get action on unless you're behind.I still think it might have been worth the call in this spot though, especially with the poster's money in the hand ...

i fold this hand pre-flop.the flop check is good.what makes you think the turn won't get checked through too? lead the turn.take the river from there.
