Kanye West is a racist piece of trash who doesn't deserve the amount of fame he has attained.

Beyonce's video was better though, just saying.

That Taylor bitch had it coming. Kanye had to do something about that shit.

But seriously, how sad is it that half the people on AFD's list are actual celebrities.

Yes..because it's highly unlikely Kanye West would do or say anything stupid or ridiculous at an inappropriate time to draw attention to himself.

If MTV was concerned about the quality of music videos, they might play some from time to time.

Just to be clear, I haven't seen what happened.

We all know he does that, anyone who has listened to his music should have a pretty good idea how he feels about award shows in general. If you are running one and invite him... well that's on you. It's not like MTV doesn't have a history of staging these types of stunts though. Anything to get people to watch repeat viewings and make sure its the talk of the internet the next day.

Your second point is very valid.

That is true about MTV having staged junk like this in the past. Anything to keep your brand relevant for another 24 hours.

A couple of things on this, I was surprised about a couple of things.

Most of the other nominees came to Taylors defense. In fact the only real harsh critisism of KW came from a handful of other nominees. You would think that may be a Catty group, but they were very protective of Taylor.

Almost all the news media is claiming that Kanye West offered an apology, which he did, but what most don't point out is that the apology was as bad if not worse than his behavior at the VMAs.

I am sure there is a segment of the population that will think this is cool like king tanner, I am not surprised about that, but what is more disturbing is how most of the music industry will simply remain silent on the subject. In the end there will be little if any consequences for his actions.

I hope he feels tough bullying a 19 year old girl, like to see him take the stage and try and take the mic from Tim McGraw.

Oh noez... country music is going gangster. I can see Tim McGraw throwing up signs and yelling "SOUTHSIDE" right now.

LOL at the music industry having consequences for Kayne too, this isn't the NFL.

I don't know if MTV staged it, but jesus christ it's an overreaction. I think Kanye is the most hated black man since the OJ trial. The over the top bile people are spewing at him is LOL funny. and he was right, Beyonce should have got the award.

LOL I think he's referencing the fact that McGraw Knocked a guy that came on stage the **** out. There's a great youtube video of it, I'll try and find it.

edit: I guess it wasn't as funny as I remember, but I mean, I don't think Kanye wants to brawl McGraw, the dude's on roids

He helped toss a guy that was beating up on a woman. I didn't see it in the video but they say the guy was even wearing a wife beater t-shirt.

I tried to make it obvious that I was joking. Guess it wasn't obvious enough. I definitely don't agree with what he did.

Kanye doesn't care what people think of him. His plan was probably just to get face time, and he succeeded.

And I agree the apology the media said he wrote was complete BS. Kanye pretty much said... sorry but I still think Beyonce was better.

Yeah, but I mean... who gives a shit. It's a musican who did a selfish thing at a completely phony and self congratulatory awards show. I thought it was kinda funny, and that's about it. GTFO with all this stealing the girl's moment garbage. He didn't rape her or something, the girl will be fine. The only thing I really care about Kanye is the beats he makes, which are stellar. Other than that, this kind of childish behavior can only amuse me. It would be different if I, or any of us, had to deal with him in our real, day to day life, and put up with his narcissism. But we don't, so who cares.
