Happy 65th Wedding Anniversary!

Totally tasteless. Never post in the same thread as me ever.
I agree. He should know you're going to sit your grandparents down at the kitchen table and show them this awesome thread you made on a poker forum. Be sure to tell them Ron Mexico has some e-issues he's trying to work out. Then explain to them that his name isn't really Ron Mexico. Good luck on explaining the e part of his e-issues. Do me a favor and ask them if it's possible to be married that long and still like the other person. Unless you have the fonts changed and they can actually read it themselves. If that's the case then, HI GRANDMA.........HI GRANDPA.

Hey, it's not Ron's fault that there's like a 1/500 chance your grandparents will die every time they go to sleep. I am seeking even money that they don't make their 66th anniversary.

Congrats to your grandparents. You should have expected responces like this by posting this here though. Think pappy will get up and make a toast and talk about the first time he stinkfingered her?

Both of them, or just one? I'll take that action on grandpa.

He's saying THEY won't make it to the 66th anniversary. He tactically gave some random odds, very calculatively(is that a word?), of 1/500 but then is willing to give an even money bet. I don't wanna kill his action here but it's a sucker bet dude.

Wang knew I wasn't being serious. There wasn't even an amount mentioned. I just want to bet someone that the OP's grandpa will die for sure within the next 12 months.

The usual assortment of e-turds derailing a perfectly decent thread. What a surprise...
Decent thread? Who comes to a poker website to post about their grandparents 65th anniversary? It's a retarded thread. While I agree at times it gets kind of intense here at OT, this was a stupid topic to post here and was just a softball pitch for half of OT to pad their stats.

Actually, if the odds of one of Gramps/Grannie dying before he/she wakes up is 1/500 each night, then it's almost exactly 50/50 that one of them dies in the next 365 dies. I figured the over/under was about 1 year, and my mathematical instincts told me that 1/500 should make the math work out about right. I just ran the maths and:(499/500)^365 = about 48%, or about 52% that they don't make it. So shut the fuck up, Gramma. Just pass away silently in your sleep so I can get paid.
