Today, I was sitting $100 NLHE, and I had the pleasure of running into an absolute ATM. He would bet any river if it was checked to him, and seriously overbet the pot ($20 at a $5 pot, for example). Anyway, I had run my $110 (I reloaded when I dropped to 90) up to almost $400!! Most of it was consistent doncations by this guy. I had a run of cards and he paid me off every single time.To the point: The guy next to me (who had doubled up and then some) said "This guy is like an ATM". I told him to be quiet and didn't say too much until out mark left. Then I tore into him. Not long after his comment, he stopped betting out without hands and started folding to my preflop raises (I play pretty tight and generally want action with my standard raises.) Why would you ever berate someone who is clearly playing in such a way that you can easily clean him out with a small amount of patience? Nobody ever really took a huge beat to him! He'd steal a lot of pots with his $20 raises, but then he'd get taken down every so often.I understand people berating each other when they get busted out to nonsense in a tournament setting. But at a cash table where you're basically sitting with a money machine, I think any comment whatsoever is inappropriate.Opinions?
