I'm not taking a big lead when I say that they sent home the wrong person. I quite liked the space outfit. Definitely better than many of the yawn fests that were put up and certainly better than the sheer night outfit. that outfit looked horrible even before he had to make drastic changes. disappointing start to the season but still entertaining.next week clips spoiler talk

I thought the above before seeing this where what's his face has the same trouble finishing (hehe) as he did this week

one thing that hurt the chick that went home was that her model's hair looked like quite a mess. big hair is nice but it has to be neat and uniform.

Sucks that this is now on Lifetime instead of Bravo.I only saw the last 10 minutes so I have no clue who is who or what any of the other designers did. Space suit lady may of stayed if she could have articulated her idea a bit better. I was not really impressed with the top three or the bottom three. Hopefully I can catch a re-run and see what the other designs were like.

I didn't re-watch episode one but I think your assessment was correct. Nothing that special. I did think that the winning design was clear right when it came outI had the same feeling this week too. That jacket was very nice. It did a good job of making one able to say "who's that foxy lady" not "who's that foxy pregnant lady". from the front obviously.I thought the lingerie dress was terrible. I didn't like the blue outfit as much as the judges. I just didn't see the big deal. this goes for Top Chef as well when Tom is gone, I just don't like an episode without the head judge. luckily it was early in the game. I don't think MK is really the head judge but I see him that way.as far as the bottoms go, I think they made a mistake in week 1 and I think it was even more obvious from what happened this week. you might be talented and have good ideas but you have to perform in the time they've allotted. so far he hasn't been able to do that.from a creative standpoint, team challenges are both awful and excellent. from a drama standpoint, they are almost always excellent so I look forward to it.p.s. rebecca romijin was quite fat in the face

Still not blown away this season.Ra'mon's dress that they were creaming over wasn't all that for me. The big grey blotch looked more like a stain than a "print" to me. The shape was fine and all. Those lace leg things were so hookerish I just loved it. Most of the avant garde looks didn't seem to have anything to do with surfing to me. The theme was pretty weak really. That Mitchell guy can't be for real. He doesn't seem to take it seriously at all. Definitely the right person to go home.

these were probably the best everyone has done so far but still not much that was "really good". really gay guy that constantly talks about how everyone else sucks sucks.Irina. I think that's her name. anyway, I think she's looking more attractive every week.I really REALLY want Nina Garcia and Michael Kors back next week. these fill in judges are just annoying. especially this week when it was just Heidi. it felt like a second rate reality show. like Top Cut or whatever it was called. or maybe the show is just second rate now.

Haven't seen this week's show yet.In the first few weeks they really have gotten rid of the right designers. Mitchell just had no clue. None. A little surprised it took as long as it did. The Team Challenge is always fun to watch. There is always someone who thinks they are such a great leader and then shows they have no ability to work with someone else. I like that they have kept the show pretty much intact in terms of formula. However it just doesn't seem to have any real "spark". Perhaps it just isn't a strong enough concept to have real lasting power and stay compelling to me.

I was surprised but happy about the elimination this week. I wanted the cute guy to stay. He looks just like Michael Pitt. His dress wasn't any good but at least it wasn't totally boring and plain. I agree with the choice of winner too, definitely the most interesting outfit. I was disappointed that they all went for dresses, and no one really pushed the envelope. I thought the dress by Efferon or whatever his name is... the brown dress with raggedy bits stuck on was hideous. I get that the construction was impressive but I still think it was ugly and dated.Still waiting for some real frontrunners to emerge. Where's the next Santino or Jeffrey or Christian? I haven't noticed anyone to be consistently impressive so far, and I still don't know half the contestants names....

caught up and watched both episodes tonight. LG, Kris is the obvious leader. this was before seeing the following episodes.episode 1:despite the above statement, I wasn't big on his newspaper design. I have to say this was quite the good episode. finally it looks like people are getting into it.the winning dress from Irina was quite meh to me. needed some colour or somethingRamon was strong in this challenge. the bottom of the red dress from one of the ladies was very good. the top not so much.johnny and nicholas deserve each other. though, johhny's print was cool.speaking of drug users, I thought Logan's dress was a top 3episode 2:nicholas' sketch looked quite nice. his dress I thought was terrible. man I want him to go home.I laughed when I heard Logan say he wanted to put something dramatic on the runway when his dress was black leather. good luck with that.Ra'mon out? Ra'mon OUT!?!? that sucks. he always went for itKris' model. she is hot. the other models. not so much. his dress was the winner to me.

Just got caught up on the last two eps. I liked what came out of the newspaper challenge. The right person went home, some of the others in the bottom I felt were better than some in the middle. The winning coat was cute but not very original, I wouldn't have picked it for the winner.Film challenge: The vintage loving girl was a big disappointment in this round. I mean, this was the perfect challenge for her and she did terribly. She should have gone home I think. She hasn't wowed yet and if she couldn't blow this challenge out of the water then she definitely cannot win. Ra'mon made a heinous outfit, don't get me wrong, but he had way more potential based on the previous episodes. His was the worst garment in that challenge, so I can't be mad about him going home.

And she's gone. I somewhat hate it even more when the person you think should'f gone home the previous episode goes home the next episode. It just helps confirm how much of a bad decision the previous one was. Ra'mon had one bad outing whereas she never did squat. usually this show is good about that stuff. the whole "three strikes and your out" earlier this season. If Chris would'f went home that would've gone against that "what have you done as a whole mentality". I'm not sure that Ra'mon's outfit was so bad that he should'f gone homeanyway, none of these outfits wowed me. they were talking about that dress like it was gold and I was very meh about it. speaking of Irina, she has a Michael Jackson nose. it's become more noticeable each episodeI wonder if it was Irina being a poor leader in giving no direction or eastern european chick really just not speaking up.I do have to say that the "dream team's" outfits looked better in the workroom. on stage they were pretty bad. nothing tied them together that's for sure. I've always liked those two so I wonder how they'll bounce back. Chris has definitely been one of the strongest competitors.really gay guy is showing how much of a "bad" contestant (good for the show) he is. constantly talking trash but hardly doing anything himself. allowing someone else to do horribly instead of speaking up about it. him winning that challenge with a very meh outfit was the worst/best. now he's all puffed up. surprised that he won on a "costume like" challenge? I am not.

He'll be all false arrogance and insulting up until the moment (soon) that he gets killed on stage and sent home. Then he'll be crying like a little insecure baby.My wife made a comment about Irina's bad nose job while we watched this episode.I don't get all of the love for Ra'mon (what's with the apostrophe?). He was constantly second guessing himself and changing at the last possible moment. I am certain we don't see the detail of all outfits, so I am sure that his earlier outfits suffered. They probably looked ok from a distance, but were a mess up close. The week he was sent home living on that edge caught up with him - that garment was a joke. Completely unacceptable. The foreign lady was passive aggressive as a teammate. "I didn't get any direction of what she wanted." Total cop-out. Even the Judges saw thru that. "You're a designer too."Speaking of judges - who was the cute blonde this week?

I actually quite liked the "dream team" outfits compared to the others. The bubble dress thing was pretty wearable even if I didn't love the lobster bib detail. The shirt dress was very cute, it didn't look super well made on the runway but I would wear an improved version.Vintage girl had some pretty awful designs and I was surprised she got picked as a captain. The dresses came out even uglier than the sketches. The shades of blue she chose were terrible. Irina's dress wasn't as special as they acted. It was good that she did a pattern since no one else did that and just used blank fabrics. The cut of the dress wouldn't be flattering on most women but it looked okay on the model. Still wasn't great, I wouldn't buy it. Worse though was that 'blouse' that was part of their 2nd outfit. That thing was hella ugly and the fabric was cheap looking and a vile shade of blue. I don't know why the judges praised it and said it was 'chic' or whetever. It was hideous.Vintage girl had to go, anyway.

Anyone else still watching this? Come on guys!I was glad to see him go, I've never liked his style or personality. Also I wanted the cute one to stay in, and I think I've liked his work in previous challenges too.The winner was deserving for sure. I'm glad Irina didn't win again, her dress was a bit too shiny for me.

I think all women and gay men across the world were happy Irina didn't win. Funny that two people who had done well early on suddenly have become crap. Let's talk about them.Chris, aka Vincent D'onofrio from the Salton Sea (it's the nose) and Epperson came together for the "Dream Team" and have become crap. Chris definitely needed Tim to see the garbage bag and not just the lining. anyone would see that garbage bag and know it blows.Epperson was interesting in this challenge in how he went from one extreme to another. he started out the "assignment" by using none of the dress. he finished the "assignment" by using all of the dress.I want to see really gay guy go home. everything he makes is just horrid looking.one person I know nothing about is the blonde. not carol hannah. I feel like we see her once or twice an episode and never anything she has to say. though this is almost 2 days after having watched the episode so maybe it's in my head.one thing I didn't like about this past challenge was the disparity in available material. maybe I'm taking what Shirin said too much as truth but seemingly the degree of difficulty on her work was much higher than Irina who had the first pick. obviously that's what winning a challenge does for you but it seemed like there were 7 dresses that were the same. 1 really good one and 1 really bad one.

Quite a few contestants are really drifting through the middle this round. The 2 blondes especially haven't really been in the bottom or top significantly. I think the blonde called Althea has won one challenge early on and that's it. I agree that the playing field wasn't really level in this challenge, but I didn't think it was such a huge disadvantage for Shirin to have limitied fabric. I immediately thought she could applique ribbons or something onto it. When she finally accepted that she had to do a simple dress she came up with the contrast stitching which was a good idea, though for the client I would have maybe done something more abstract with different coloured threads to make it more funky. I'm hoping for a more creative premise for the next challenge, something that will let them all be more distinctive and original. We need to seperate the wheat from the chaff. I still don't think there is a 'favourite' yet this season, and it's getting pretty late for there not to be a standout or two.

I hated this whole challenge. there's always talk about getting away from the "costume" look and instead the challenge embraces it.Chris should've gone home. he's just been terrible three challenges in a row. he's lost it. that's it. he's gonna be bad again next week and go home. Shirin would've at least had a chance next week. she's been good in the last couple challenges and in the last one made something out of nothing. if you look at who's been up, down and in (thanks to the Wik), Shirin has never been in the bottom before. though this week, hers was quite meh I have to say. it seems weird to me that they take in past performance quite often in this show yet something like that can happen. was hers SO bad that it meant she's going home? Chris obviously is doing something wrong if THREE challenges in a row is on the bottom. one was a team challenge, yes, but obviously poor performance is indicative of something.Logan has never been in the top. I don't think he's necessarily "bad". he just doesn't have that next level apparently. his unique perspective definitely helps keep him around. it's like you're comparing food and you have three lamb dishes and one person makes a mac and cheese with beef. you've definitely got the vinegar to go with the honey. I spell trouble t-r-u-f-f-l-eNina was back and said interesting things. too bad there was no Kors. it helps the show having good judges. Nina, Michael, and Heidi work well together.I thought it was funny that Heidi apparently didn't get the memo that Christina Aguilera being there wasn't a surprise. speaking of Heidi, before the season started she said

"watch out for the women this season". so with that information, I'd guess now that we're going to see Carol Hannah, Irina and Althea in the final 3. thanks for spoiling this season, Heidi. bitch. actually it's not much of a stretch

Yeah this challenge was pretty boring. Most of them just seemed to make glitzy, slutty evening dresses which I found pretty boring. When I think of stage costumes I think of outlandish, conceptual outfits, not long sequinned dresses. The designers could have had a bit of fun with it and gone with a strong theme, but instead most of the outfits looked more like something a ballroom dancer would wear. Also, I don't get why none of them used any colour - it was all black, white and silver. They could have gone for really bright colours which would stand out on stage, but they didn't.Logan really is cute, he looks just like the actor Michael Pitt. It's a shame that he doesn't really seem to have any passion or flair for design, his looks aren't memorable and he never seems to really be proud of his final works. The girls are definitely stronger. Nicholas talks out of his butt, I thought his little feathery dress was really unoriginal and looked like something an ice dancer would wear.

I don't know how Chris is still around. he stayed because of a belt? he made a costume. a bad one. I do suppose that really gay guy didn't do anything 'greek' (at least not during his stay on the show (hiyo)) but still.Irina's sketch was great. her outfit going down the runway was easily the best. everyone else was meh or slightly above meh at best. ok well I guess european chick and carol hannah's were better than meh. though neither was better than ok. nothing that interesting about them.Althea got lucky that chris and really gay guy did so poorly but I think we all knew they were gonna be bad. hers was too over the top and shiny.I'm not terribly excited to see what these people are gonna do in the finals

Althea's outfit was gross. I hate sheer shirts in pretty much all situations, and hers was really horribly shaped too, like you had to wear it with a tight waist belt to get it to hang the way she had it, you couldn't button it up or anything. The shorts looked tacky, like bronze faux leather is classy? Also they were too short and not tight enough at the bottom, so I am sure her buttcheeks would be showing from the bottom if they'd let us see a good view from behind. Nicholas was being totally boring so I don't care that he is gone, though Chris' outfit was equally bad. Logan's was boring too. Carol Hannah's was fine but nothing new. I didn't like Irina's really - who wants to wear beige on beige on beige like that? I also question the practicality of the cut out back, and the idea of cut outs in a jumper/sweater seems really tacky to me in general. I thought Gordana should win but it was really only on the strength of the gorgeous necklace she made, since her dress was boring and dated for me.

I thought Althea's outfit was horrid again but it won. so funny how pissed she was and then got pissed at someone basically getting pissed at her for the same thing but it was dumb of any of them to get pissed in the first place. yea I feel drunk after typing that too. All I know is I would probably laugh/giggle at someone wearing those pants.Irina's was the best...againCH's was good. But, it looked a bit retro-waitress-y to me. it was "cute" though. She also looked quite good in those jeans. I'm pulling for her.that had DOUBLE meaning. LG just scrunched her nose.chris' was ok. definitely worse than his inspiration. like I said. he's lost 'it'logan's was TOTALLY judy jetson. I laughed out loud when he said that. gordana's wasn't as bad they said. the long jacket idea was nice (nothing to do with her original look though). I don't think I'm a fan of her construction.they love Althea so it's gonna be her, CH and Irina at the end. Interestingly enough none of those three have been in the bottom 3. first time that's ever happened at this juncture. In fact, only three people before this have come this far without being in the bottom 3 (according to wiki). Season 2 it was Daniel. Two people from Season 1.

I love how Heidi ragged on Logan for having an explosion of zippers. It really was a lame attempt to do something interesting. I really liked Irina's outfit, and I thought it fit better with her original look than the others did.

My favorite moment of the episode was watching Irina and Althea bitch about Logan, while stuffing their faces with In n Out. I don't know why, but it made me laugh! They looked like bitter high school queens.

Carol Hannah: Very simple black dress. It was nice and all, but so ****in safe. And everyone puts pockets in dresses now so I don't get why that impressed the judges so much. Gordana: I thought her outfit was ugly and unflattering. All it was is a long grey jacket with a messed up collar and lots of darts under the bust. If she wanted to be edgy she didn't go far enough, if she wanted to be pretty she shouldn't have messed up the collar and done the darts inside out. Althea: I don't mind the 'paperbag' waist on the trousers but only models can pull off wearing trousers with such a lot of volume around the thighs like that. I liked the multiple straps on the tank top but otherwise it was just a plain white tank top with no bra underneath, no wow factor there. Big slouchy cardigan... bet that took about 5 minutes to whip up. I don't think she copied Irina necessarily, in that slouchy cardigans have been around since the 80s and have been making a comeback. Irina didn't invent them for the first time so she shouldn't have been such a bitch about it.Irina: I like that she used a pattern, since hardly any of these contestants have enough creativity to use a pattern unless that's the only fabric they're using. It certainly makes things more interesting when there is an outfit that isn't black, white and/or grey. This week Irina was the only person who actually used colour, and I liked the red on beige. Shame she made the dress so simple, she could have done something to the hemline or given it interesting cap sleeves or straps to make it more than just a strapless dress. The cardigan looked cosy, I would wear it in a different colour.Logan: This is a guy that clearly doesn't know what he is doing. His outfits never really had strong vision behind them, I think he just doesn't know his style yet. He tries to make his garments slightly edgy and urban I suppose, but only succeeds in making them look cheap and unfashionable. This dress definitely looked too 'Judy Jetson' with the high collar and the short bubble skirt. I don't think he copied the zipper thing though, I mean, did anyone even notice it on Althea's outfit before the show gave us the close up on it? Unless she spent time showing it to him before and that wasn't aired on the show, I think he just came up with the same idea. It's hardly earth-shattering to sew zips together and use it as a collar though.Other guy: The dress said "monochrome flamenco" to me. I hated that he used ivory white with the black. In his previous outfit he used more of a cream coloured fabric which looked a lot less cheap against the black. The texture of the ruffles at the bottom were like soft serve ice cream, then the grey 'petals' added absolutely nothing as they were used. The black part of the dress was super simple which is why it really didn't match together. To me it was just a really uninspired outfit: he thought "my last dress was short so I'll make this long. My last dress had ruffles at the bottom, lots of petals, and was grayscale, so I'll use those in this dress to make it match". There was nothing new or innovative, and it was very forced because he just carried over all those concepts without adjusting them much to suit the new silhouette and context of the second dress.
