Spencahhhh,Like everything in poker, it's situational. Starting hand requirements in any game are going to change based on positon, chip-stacks, action, table dynamics, who's winning/losing etc.In stud, we have additional information based on the door-card. So "high pairs, (99)A/(TT)A" etc. are of course whatever...Unless you are just leveling, in which case"you only play premium cards, jacks or better split, nines or better wired and 3 to a high flush. Tight, but aggressive and I do mean aggressive. That's your style, professor."

exactly, you have to keep aware what has been on the board at all times, what cards had been up and folded. figure your math from there, the colors, the percentages of cards left in play. the possibilities. Each card, each street changes the game the dynamics and outcomes.
