kings vs. stop n go

Recommended Posts

Kind of a strange hand; my 5th at the table. I also had kings on my first hand (and got someone to cap it on every street with me for a 24 BB pot 8)Pokerroom still hasn't been fixed for the converter, so here's my best shot.Hand 919830027, Started at 5/20/2005 11:21 PMTable 'Bata': $0.25-$0.50 Limit Texas Hold'em (Real Money)This is Villain's first hand at the table.Hero is UTG+1 with K:diamond:K:heart:*** Pre-Flop *** : 1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, MP+3 calls, 4 folds.Duh.*** Flop *** : Jh Jd Qs (5.5 SB) DCWildcat : Bet ($0.25)mbshane : Call ($0.25)Not my favorite flop. Surprised to see a call rather than a raise/fold.*** Turn *** : [ Jh Jd Qs ] 7s (3.75 BB)DCWildcat : Bet ($0.50)mbshane : Raise ($1.00)DCWildcat : Call ($0.50)Is this too weak? Should I 3-bet? J and Q scared me enough to check/call. Afraid of getting too involved in a small pot.*** River *** : [ Jh Jd Qs 7s ] 10s (7.75 BB)DCWildcat : Checkmbshane : Bet ($0.50)DCWildcat : Call ($0.50)Again, too weak?*** SUMMARY ***Pot: 9.75 BBThink I might have been too wussy here, but the stop n go, the height (I guess?) of the flop, the size of the pot and my lack of reads scared me. Thoughts?

I call down against an unkown player. Maybe that's bad, but I do.FYI, this isn't a stop n go.Stop n go= bet/call-bet...Donkbet=check/call-bet...They are different.I think this is just a regular turn raise. :-)
