I downloaded and watched this recently. Very enjoyable show. Tim Roth and Kelli Williams star.

Yep. Roth is great in this role. I think my favorites bits are when he explains a microexpression and then they flash to photos of famous politco's etc showing the same expression/lie.

It's a bit of fresh(er) air in a stale "cop drama" format.
Hank's tenure at Soulsuckers, INC, LLC, DBA TBD, had not been long, but it had been distinguished... By drunkenness, hair-trigger violence, and a total lack of performance. I would call it a steady decline in performance, but that would imply that he performed at one point in time. In fact he had not. He was drunk.

exactly. Using the real-life examples is hilarious. I liked how they started getting more into the personal lives of the characters in the second half of the run.

i like it too.

i remember after one of the first episodes my wife was telling me some story and threw in a number of times that something happened. i forget the specifics. but i happened to be looking right at her as she used the number example, and i remember staring at her for a second and saying "you just made that number up!" she looked all embarrassed and stammered "how did you know?" "well, see, i just watched this show that said when you look like that, you're lying. but i thought to myself 'why would you lie about that? ahhh but you would throw in a number to make your point...' better not lie to me, girl!"

now she won't let me watch when she's talking to me.
