"Proliferating"? What does that really mean? Breeding? Delivering or distributing? Dealing it to today's youth, like drugs?
“We had all the momentum. We were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave. So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look west, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark, that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.” —Raoul Duke, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas

Seriously. No one cares? We're a bankrupt nation already fighting two conflicts on foreign soil, being threatened by a rogue client state of the country who holds the means of production of most of the consumer goods we buy (China), and who also happens to hold much of our national debt, who has been building a supermassive military for the express purpose of winning a conflict with us, and no one cares? This is such huge news, people.

I didn't look at the links but I am just going to assume that this is about his plans to fire a ballistic missile at Hawaii on the fourth of July.

From what I understand it will land 500 miles short so that means they can still shoot the final season of "Lost" so I am cool about it.

Kim Jong Il firing a missile anywhere towards anything the United States even likes would be pretty suicidal. He really is either completely insane, or this is all just made up by N. Korea.

Only two more tables until you achieve poker orgy! Chips will be flying every which way, nonstop suck outs galore, and you won't know where you blew your stack but damn it'll be a great night.

It's 11:36 on a Friday night (est, anyway). I'm not sure it's a lack of caring as much as a mix of

1. Anyone with a life is not on fcp right now.
2. This isn't a great forum for serious discussion about...anything.

It's the same formula he's been following for a decade or more. Do something provacative to bring the U.S. et al to the negotiating table then pledge not to do the action again on the condition that the U.S., Europe, and China give them more oil and food. Nothing to get your panties in a twist over.
Hank's tenure at Soulsuckers, INC, LLC, DBA TBD, had not been long, but it had been distinguished... By drunkenness, hair-trigger violence, and a total lack of performance. I would call it a steady decline in performance, but that would imply that he performed at one point in time. In fact he had not. He was drunk.

considering it's no longer a 100% certainty that china and russia would back them if they went to war against the US, they're looking at serious trouble if they go through with this.

honestly, he's just getting into a penis swinging match, one that, since he's asian, he knows he's going to lose, so he just hopes the US will buy into his talk again and lift sanctions and give aid, so he can repeat this same BS next year when the DPRK is fiscally strapped.

this is a very valid point. the last i read, china was getting kind of fed up with north koreans trying to make it to more tolerant nations through their borders and was generally losing patience with n.k. all together.
