I find a flaw that bothers me significantly less than it bothers other men, and I seek out women with said flaw. As an example, say you're a guy who doesn't care about a girl's teeth. (This one definitely doesn't apply to me.) As far as your concerned, you have to pay a premium for a woman with good teeth, and that's not something you're willing to do. All other things being equal, you'd rather have a girl that scores an 8/10 on the breasts scale and a 5/10 on the teeth scale than a girl with 5/10 breasts but 8/10 teeth. Most guys are going to value teeth more highly than you, so there's an inefficiency in the market for women with bad teeth. You can satisfy your wants and find a more efficient allocation of resources if you bang a girl with beaver-teeth. I find myself much more interested in girls that I find cute but others may not. And on the other time, I am really turned off by girls who think they're much prettier than they actually are (it's often, though of course no always, the case that girls who are especially into themselves aren't nearly as good looking as they think.)
