jmbreslin 0
Roughly 60 entered, we're down to about 25 and top 10 win a seat to the $15 MSOP PLO event. I hadn't played many hands so far but built my stack by hitting a couple of hands and having people give me their chips.Full Tilt Pot-Limit Omaha Tournament, 120/240 Blinds (8 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comMP1 (t3220)MP2 (t682)CO (t1730)Button (t4590)SB (t5201)BB (t4056)UTG (t6900)Hero (UTG+1) (t5380)Hero's M: 14.94Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A, Q, 5, JUTG bets t840, Hero calls t840, 6 foldsFlop: (t2040) 4, 7, 6(2 players)UTG bets t1020, Hero ??? Frez 0
I think I fold that PF second to act. What are you going to do if it's raised behind you?Since he bet half pot you could flat the flop. In a cash game I may raise here.
jmbreslin 0
Play had been pretty tight passive, so I felt the chances were pretty good that there wouldn't be action behind. This is a tough spot to be in because I have a healthy, above average stack in a satty so I have to be careful on this hand.Suppose you flat the flop, whiff on the turn, and he fires another 1/2 pot bet? RISEorFall 0
if his utg raising range is strictly high cards/high pairs, raising this flop will probably get a fold a ton of the time. b/c you have the AQ of diamonds, it's hard for him to have big pair + flush draw. naked big pairs should have a hard time continuing on this flop. but then again, if he's usually a hold em player, which is hard to know but id bet most players in this kinda tourney are, he's probably shoving his overpair. you could flat as like a semibluff float, and often take the pot if he checks the turn. but again if he's more of a hold em player he just shoves the turn if it isn't something scary. your M's not big enough to call pot size raises preflop and fold decent drawing hands postflop and im guessing it's not big enough to coast into the money. i'd raise the flop as like i said even naked big pairs will have a hard time risking that many chips with a single pair. you have a ton of FE and a good draw to back it up just in case.unless this flop is in his UTG raising range, then i'd prolly just flat. but most of the time, im guessing this flop completely missed his hand, and could definately have hit yours hard. heyitscorey 0
gambool, he can't have ad xd since you have it and will fold tons of over pairs. If he does have kkdd then you still have outs.
